πŸ’™An Angel Box—free for you to give as a gift πŸ’™

February 14, 2022
Valentine's Day
Dear StudentsπŸ’ž

Those of you who have been around
for a while know that I post an updated version of this lesson
every Valentine's Day. Today is no exception. It was once
Lesson 13; now it just appears once a year.
🐠 You swim in peace, as peace swims in you.It is only that you are not awake, and so you do not experience this peace. Your school helps you awaken to the peace that is eternally Present.

AN ANGEL BOX

Today you are invited to create An Angel Box.
Or you could call it a Letting Go Box.
Your box can help you fulfill the following prayer:

The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The Courage to change the things I can;
And the Wisdom to know the difference.

What Is An Angel Box?
Even if you choose not to make an angel box, please consider reading this lesson. It contains angelic teachings for your life.

πŸ‘ΌAn Angel BoxπŸ‘Ό helps you align with your divine destiny and let go of what does not serve you. It's a place to give your problems, fears, worries, visions, and prayers into the care and keeping of the angels. If you are not interested in an angel box, just read the lesson in imagination. Some of you won't be interested —πŸ’™— but we have different students, with different interests, and some of you will be drawn to this.

First:
Buy or make an angel box. Or use a folder, envelope, silk bag, or a medicine pouch. Your Angel Box can be elaborate or simple. It doesn’t have to be perfect, so long as it is perfect for you.
Or use a box you already have and love.

Let go of your ideas of "perfect" and trust that perfection flows to you from a ↑Higher Source↑

If you'd like to create your own angel box, here are some ideas, if you decide to make one:

1. Use a cardboard box (angels love recycling). Shoe boxes and cigar boxes make nice angel boxes. Or use an empty tissue or cereal box. If you like round, try an oatmeal container. You can also buy a box, or build one from wood. Or use a big envelope.

2. Gather items to decorate your box: Photos, pictures from magazines or calendars. Pictures of saints, gods, goddesses, and angels. Wise sayings. Poems. Prayers. Inspirational words like truth, light, courage. Rhinestones, unless you have real diamonds and pearls you are not using (smile). Crystals, buttons, lace, ribbons, velvet, silk, satin, sequins, sparkles, tiny stars. Natural items like dried flowers, feathers, acorns, seeds, shells.

3. Set aside time for you and the angels. Brew a cup of tea or coffee. Maybe burn incense or candles, play music, or just sing songs to your angels. If you have children, you can invite them to make their own Angel Box right along with you. Angel Boxes are a great teaching tool for children of all ages.

4. Sit down with your items, including tape, glue, scissors, paints, crayons, (maybe gold or silver). If you want to varnish your box, have clear varnish on hand.

5. Give your box a lining: Maybe velvet, satin, silk, or pretty paper, carefully glued in. As you place this lining inside your box, contemplate your inner beauty. Inner beauty radiates ourwardly. Assure yourself that you are worthy of a beautiful box. Let the lining reflect the LIGHT within you.

6. Make an Opening, if it doesn't already have one. Think of the crown chakra, the Sahasara, at the top of your head. Be open and receptive to ↑The Light↑. As you create this opening, let it symbolize opening yourself to the messages of angels and higher inspiration.

7. Decorate your box. Let intuition and creativity be your guides. Have fun.

8. Admire your completed box. Smile your happy smile. Wriggle your body in delight like a child. Laugh right out loud. Dance a happy dance. Jump up and down. Let go of any concepts of what an "adult" should act like. Challenge your ideas of who you think you are.

9. Place your Angel Box in a special place, preferably where you will see it every day, maybe on top of a dresser, on your puja (altar), or in your meditation area. Keep a pen and some paper handy.

WAYS TO USE YOUR ANGEL BOX

Use your box to symbolically let go of trying to control life and strong attachments you have to the way things 'should' be. Let go of problems and worries. When something troubles you, write your trouble on a piece of paper, date it, and give it to your angel box. Tell the angels that this problem is beyond your control and you are now turning it over to them.

Special note: If your worry returns to you during the day, ask, 'Is there anything I can do about this right now?' If your answer is NO, remind yourself that you have given it into the care and keeping of a higher power. If the answer has changed to YES, then take the action you need to take.

Taking a small action is a way of controlling what you can and gaining confidence. If your worry returns, repeat the process. This helps discipline your mind so worries do not control and overwhelm you. It replaces unhealthy habits with  healthy habits. If you are going to have habits, they may as well be healthy ones that uplift and support your life.

When you have a question and cannot find an answer, write the question on a piece of paper, date it, and put it in your box. Now forget about it, trusting that the answer will come when it is needed, in God's time and design, not yours.

Special note: Date every piece of paper, so you will have a reference point for later.

When you want something (an object, a partner, anything at all) give it into the safe keeping of the angels with a prayer that God will manifest your desire only if it is in your best and highest interest.

Special note: This is surrendering your small will to a Higher Will.

I am sure you will agree that often what you wanted in the past turned out NOT to be the best for you. Giving your desire to the angels is a way of getting out of your own way and making room for the highest in your life.

When you feel afraid, angry, sad, hurt, or any other confusing or negative emotion, put it in your box.

When someone you care about, including yourself, is hurting or sick, write their name on the paper, perhaps with a prayer for God's perfect healing and give it to the angels.

Use it when you think you are in danger and need a Guide. Write your fear on paper with a request for Protection and Guidance.

Use it to request courage, confidence, and clarity to complete necessary tasks.

Write messages of Gratitude. The attitude of gratitude is always healing.

Write down a Vision you long to achieve. Put it in your box and surrender the Outcome to the Wisdom of the angels, with the prayer that vision will manifest only if it serves your Higher Purpose.

Special note: Sometimes, we have the divine inspiration to do something — but negative beliefs and thoughts such as: I can’t do it. Why even try? It won’t work, block constructive action. Writing your vision down and giving it to the angels is a positive action.

Take a positive action:
One way to get past limiting beliefs and negative thinking is to take a positive action. Even something as simple as writing is an action. Putting the message in your angel box is a second action, which includes the act of faith—faith in a power higher than yourself, which is an inner action.

Sometimes you really want something. You want a certain outcome. Your desire may block the outcome that God intends for you, which is always much greater than anything you can imagine. Write your desire on a piece of paper and put it in your box. Let yourself be open to possibilities beyond your own thinking.

Your job is not to make something happen. Life happens through us. The more you get out of your own way, the more creativity can flow through you.

Show up! PlayDiscover! Learn! Grow! Evolve!

When an idea, an inspiration, or a vision, comes to you, have fun with it. There is no need to get all heavy and serious. Find out where the vision is leading you. Your Angel Box can help you do this.

Be Open and Receptive

Once you have placed your dreams and wishes, questions and problems in your Angel Box, stay open and receptive. You will likely be receiving messages from the universe, the angels, intuition, maybe even dreams. These messages can come from anywhere, because the universe is a mystical, magical, spiritual place. Stay awake, open, and receptive so you won't miss those messages!

Messages are always coming to you. Intuition is always speaking to you. We often don't receive intuition, inspiration, and words of wisdom because we have a preconceived idea of how things should turn out or how messages should come.

When you are open and aware, even the words on a cereal box might contain a message for you. Do your best not to limit the universe by telling it what it should  do. This is like telling the stars how they should shine.

Later…

Once a month or when your Angel Box is full you
decide — take your papers out and read them. Which prayers, wishes, and dreams have been fulfilled? Which ones have you forgotten about? Which ones do you no longer care about? Which were only ego? What can you learn from what you have written and what has been happening in your life?

Give Angel Boxes & this lesson as gifts:

Make Angel Boxes as gifts and give them to people you love, along with "The Serenity Prayer." You are invited to give a copy of this particular lesson as a gift, if you like. Just be sure to include the complete lesson and copyright. This is my gift to you. Because I am thankful you are here as a student and appreciate that you show up here with devotion to your path.

Other ideas:
For wishes and visions which didn't happen, or you no longer wish for, you might: 1. Burn them in a small ritual. 2. Bury them in the earth. 3. Tear them to pieces and let them go. Breathe a letting go sigh of relief.

For problems solved, questions answered, and wishes fulfilled, you might: 1. Put a tiny jewel in your box as an offering of thanks to the angels, 2. String a  pearl or jewel for every wish granted, 3. Keep your pieces of paper somewhere, as a reminder of the good work the angels have helped you accomplish in your life. Or just burn these too.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this lesson. And perhaps you will enjoy making an angel box. You are welcome to put a picture of your angel box here in Your Open Classroom. Thank you for being here now in the present moment of Love. Here's an Angel Box that our classmate, Barbra, made. She sent me the picture, and I once saw it when I visited her lovely home.

Prayer for Spiritual Healing

I ask the great Unseen Healing Force
to remove all obstructions
from my mind and body
and to restore me to perfect health.
I ask this in all sincerity and honesty
and I will do my part.
I ask this great Unseen Healing Force
to help both present and absent ones
who are in need of help
and to restore them to perfect health
I put my trust in the love and power of God.

Where I live I often find animal tracks in the morning, when there is snow to see them. This looks like a bear track, because it has 5 toes, but it is probably a skunk who circled my house. It is smaller than the picture appears, although bears have come, circled my house, walked on my porch, looked in my windows. Deer also.

This winter, there hasn't been much snow. In fact, yesterday it rained, the temperatures warmed up, and this morning, the snow is gone again. Unusual. I haven't lived here for many years, only recently having returned, and I expected white winters, the kind I knew growing up here.

I wonder if the bears stay in hibernation anyway, even with these springlike temperatures? Anyway, it is interesting to see what is invisible to the eye without the snow--to see where the animals walk. Just as the Great Healing Force is always there, even when we can't see it, so are the animals strolling around my house, even when the snow isn't there to show their tracks.

Body/Mind Relaxation Practice

Dear Classmates,
I am including here a question (scroll down) and the answer I gave. Notice, I am not saying anything about the medical conditions this person is diagnosed with. I am addressing only her anxiety and nervous exhaustion. I include this here because who hasn't (doesn't) suffer from anxiety and nervousness from time to time? Or other habits and problems you'd like to be free from? You can try this. Change it according to your particular situation. Rewrite it if you like. Do not depend upon me to do everything for you. The school is not about anyone doing your thinking for you, remember?

Your school encourages you to think for yourself. It supports you along your way. It's hard to go through life, especially a spiritual path all on our own. Human beings are social animals. We are an interdependent species. We need each other. That's how God made us. That's why God made angels to assist us. Somehow, I broke through to the realm of angels, though I wouldn't recommend the way it happened to me, to anyone. But, alas, it happened.

From that dark and frightening experience, the light of the angels came to me, saved my life, and made me return here to my body, to be of service, to let the light of the angels speak through me. I know it sounds crazy—even to me, when I speak of it, so I usually don't. Nevertheless, it is the way it is. I never could have written or spoken or seen as I do all my own. Never. It’s not that I am not intelligent or that I don’t know things. I am a trained psychotherapist, so I know what I learned. I have many experiences I can draw upon. I have my own intuition. I have all that.

And over all that, I have the love and guidance of the angels. I have the understanding that this human life is fleeting. I know that I don’t exist, anymore than you do. And I have a life here in this human body, which I am completing, just like you. I don’t pretend to be at the end-point of Realization.

I say instead that there is no end-point. That for so long as we are here in a human body, we are evolving. This applies to every single human on earth, no matter who they are, no matter how enlightened they may seem. Never put anyone so high above you that you lose sight of the Divinity that exists equally — equally — within everyone — or at least the possibility to contact and live from that divinity exists equally. When you elevate another person, teacher, guru, lover, anyone at all, to a position higher than your own, you have created duality. Duality is what you seek to be free from.

This doesn't mean that someone can't know more than you, be more enlightened than you—otherwise, who would we have to learn from? It doesn't mean you can't revere and respect great beings. Even musicians or writers or leaders. Even your friend. Maybe even your wise and wonderful dog.
It doesn't mean you can't do puja or ritual to a saint or enlightened being, if that puts you into a sacred space in your heart.

It’s about what happens inside yourself — when you elevate someone and put yourself down — when you give away your power — when you revere another person and forget that person doesn’t exist, anymore than you do. THAT’S when you enter the danger zone of  “me and you”. You are not here to worship anybody — any body. Bodies all die. Why worship a body? No individual exists. Why worship an individual? That is living in illusion, delusion, and seclusion from Truth. You must know the difference between honoring someone and turning that someone into an object of worship. You must never let anyone else do your thinking and feeling for you. You must consistently find out what is true for yourself.

As to what happens when we leave this body — I can say a lot about that too — but the important point is that each soul’s journey, once they leave, is between that soul and God. Death doesn’t end a journey, it  begins a new journey—a new birth in a new land.

STUDENT QUESTION: Background: Self-diagnosed anxiety. Medical diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Current issue is Tachycardia and heart palpitations, especially when I sit and stand, but sometimes my heart surges to 160 when I am sleeping. Though there may be medical reasons for this, which have not yet been discovered by my doctors, I would like some help with anxiety in case that is the main because of the heart issues. Nervous exhaustion as well. Thank you!

ANSWER: Mind/emotions/body are interlinked. This takes time and work — but you can try this — when you are lying or sitting still in your safe place, feeling relaxed, begin to imagine — yourself slowly, slowing standing, slowly. Slow as a flower opening. Let yourself be a flower.

As soon as your heartbeat increases, or you feel any anxiety at all, stop the imagination and bring yourself back to your body, safe, relaxed, lying or sitting down. Stay there until you are relaxed again, heartbeat normal. Then try again. Each time, go only so far as can. You are in control. Stay aware and notice what you are experiencing, feeling, giving yourself all the time you need to come into touch with mind, spirit, emotions, body.

Remember, you are doing this in imagination. This puts you in control. It can help with the fear. I am not saying this is a cure-all. I am saying that we are whole beings. Everything is part of everything else. The body/mind/emotions so easily fall into habits and patterns—and keeps these, even when they are harmful. It's hard to break free from ingrained ways of being. So you may want to softly, gently try this — teaching, guiding yourself to peaceful, relaxing responses as you grow and evolve and learn about what is going on with your body.

I wish you well.

Fire Meditation

This is from your school lesson: Relationships, which some of you have read by now and some of you will read it in a future lesson Here is an important meditation from that lesson, which you might like to read and practice—even if you do it only in imagination. The first paragraph under Coming Into Harmony In All Your Relations (below) is important to understand. I am posting this now for all of you, since relationships comprise a vital part of life on earth and your happiness.

Questions You May Want To Ask

(1) Are my words and actions routinely those of a foolish or a wise person?
(2) Do I spend more time perpetuating arguments and conflicts than I do resolving them?
(3) Is my goal to win or to effectively communicate, no matter what the outcome?
(4) Am I willing to give up trying to control other people’s stories about me?
(5) Am I willing to experience peace in all my relations?

The answers to these questions may help you become more aware of both your strengths and weaknesses and bring more peace to your relationships.

Coming Into Harmony In All Your Relations

It is not necessary to have another person’s permission, physical presence, goodwill, or agreement in order for you to experience inner peace. Healing and resolution can take place completely within you! You are that free!

Yes! When you cannot come to terms with another person, despite your best efforts, you can still find inner resolution! The following meditation can help you heal relationships, particularly when another person is unavailable, unwilling, or unable to work things out with you. You may choose to practice this meditation with someone who is alive now or who has passed on. It's can be useful to practice before discussing a difficult topic with someone. You may then find that the issue simply resolves itself, or at least that you are able to converse calmly, without a strong emotional charge. You may work with any problem or situation, in which case, change the words to suit the situation.

Please be open to letting go of any preconceived idea of what healing should look like. Your idea may or may not be part of the greater picture. If you are busy with your own ideas, you may miss the resolution right before your eyes. Can you be open to the possibility that healing may have nothing to do with what you think should happen? It takes courage to be open to such a possibility, because egos have very strong opinions. It is threatening for egos to let go of thoughts and ideas, because egos are defined by these. The fire meditation is not about trying to impose your ideas over what is—it is about Seeing what IS. You are simply invited to show up and be available for healing.  Higher Conscious knows what you need. The small mind knows only what it wants. When you show up and make yourself available for healing, all the angelic and cosmic forces of the universe show up for you.

Conscious Ritual—Fire Meditation Conscious Ritual is a way to honor yourself. There is a place within each human being that responds to the magic of fire, of ritual, of a special context within which to heal.  Make your fire ritual as sacred as you are. Follow your own pace and stay with each step for as long as you need to before moving on to the next one.

For this exercise you will need a candle, a quiet place, and most importantly a willingness—be willing to give the whole matter into the care and keeping of the angels. It is nice, though not essential, to practice this Meditation in a darkened room, to avoid distractions. You may also practice it within imagination, but actually doing the meditation will give you a deep healing experience. It's your choice. Burn fragrant incense if you like. If you have an appropriate setting you may choose to build a fire circle under the night sky.

There are two parts to this meditation. The second part of the meditation is for expanded healing, once you have resolved and come into acceptance with What IS, in your first meditation. You are encouraged to repeat the first meditation as often as necessary until you come to a point of inner healing and acceptance. This may happen right away. If the pain or anger is very deep, you may need to repeat it many times. When you feel complete with Part I, move on to Part II.

Fire Meditation Ritual: Part I

Step 1: Prepare you space with a candle and a comfortable private pace to sit.

Step 2: Enter into the safety of your private sanctuary. Gather yourself into the stillness of your heart. Consider your holiness. Silently light the candle within your sacred space. Center yourself. Breathe in the light of the fire. Let its warmth and power fill you. Observe the flame dancing before you. Let yourself experience gratitude for the magic of fire that has enchanted and served humankind for so long as warmth, as fuel, as light, and as ritual. Let yourself feel safe in the presence of the fire—safe to be soft, vulnerable, and open.

Step 3: Think of a relationship that you would like to heal. In your mind’s eye, picture the other person as clearly as you can. If you are not sure on whom you want to focus, observe the flame and wait to see who appears. Gaze into the flame and allow the image of the person to manifest before you. Let yourself see the color of that person's eyes, the shape of the person's face. When the image is clear, when you feel ready, look deeply into that person’s eyes. Give yourself permission to safely experience whatever arises within your consciousness.

Thoughts come. Thoughts go. Breath remains. You remain. Safe and serene. You are the eternal sky through which clouds pass. Clouds come. Clouds go. Sky remains, unaffected by transitory movements in consciousness.

The fire burns. Let it burn through your thoughts, body, and emotions, burning away the past, burning away the future, leaving only now . Let the strong radiant energy of the fire burn through you, purifying and cleansing. Breathe in its energy. Let healing warmth and relaxation infuse every cell of your being.

Step 4: Now ask the angels to let you see this person or situation at the individual ego or personality personality level. Ask that their flaws and weaknesses, the limitations of their ego be shown to you—not so that you might judge or condemn—but so that you may learn, grow and understand how to protect yourself. Ask that anything you need to know be revealed to you.

Give yourself permission to experience whatever is between you and the other person, without thinking you must control, direct, or change anything. Let whatever feelings arise—arise. Do not fear feelings, just notice them. If fear arises, notice that. Acknowledge feelings and let them pass through you and away. Your only task is to gaze into the light of the candle, breathe, and experience what is, whatever is.

Breathe through whatever feelings and thoughts arise. Be present with yourself and your experience. Be present for yourself. If there is something you think you need from this person, maybe now is a good time to ask. If there is something you think you need to give to this person, maybe now is a good time to offer it.

Step 4: Stay with process for as long as you need to. If it becomes too intense, consciously breathe and relax. If you feel you cannot complete this process right now, let yourself stop. Return to it later, but be sure to start from the beginning. Tell yourself: I am safe. I am protected. I am surrounded by the healing love of angels. Just keep breathing through this experience, remembering you are safe. You are in control. You can stop anytime. The other person or situation is not in control of you.

Step 5: When you feel complete, thank the fire for its service. Thank the other person for showing up. Thank yourself. Thank the angels for their assistance.

Please repeat this meditation as often as you need to, until you feel ready to go on to the next meditation. Take your time and do NOT try to complete Part II until you are sure you have worked through your feelings in Part I and come to a sense of inner resolution and safety. Then let Part I gently lead you into Part II.

Fire Meditation Ritual: Part II

You may now choose to repeat the entire Part I first and let it move you gently into Part II. Otherwise, repeat Steps 1-3  then begin Part II, using the same image of the person or situation you were working with in Part I.

When you feel ready, open, and receptive, invite the energy of Unconditional Love to surround you, this person, and the situation. Say this prayer: “Dear Angels, I do not know what Unconditional Love is. I do no not know what Love is. Please help clear my mind of all wrong thoughts about love so that I may know Divine Love—Love without expectations and demands—the Love that is always here. Thank you.”

Step 1: When you feel ready, open, and receptive, invite the energy of unconditional love to surround you, this person, and the situation. As you continue looking into this person’s eyes, begin to see the light that comes from God shining through. See the love that comes through from God shining there. If you cannot see these yet, pretend that you do. See any problems or pain between the two of you as nothing more than clouds—wisps of smoke. Passing by. Passing away. Insignificant next to the unconditional love that surrounds and fills you.

This is a love that needs no action, a love that simply IS. You do not have to do anything to express this love. It surrounds you in the warm light of the fire. It fills you with peace. You can see this peace shining through the eyes of the person before you. You can feel it in the firelight. You can experience it within you. It is you. Remain here for as long as you like, letting the fire of Unconditional LOVE burn through you, burning away any pain, burning through any anger, burning away everything that is not you, not Love.

When you feel complete, thank the fire for its service. Thank the other person for showing up. Thank yourself. Thank the angels for their assistance.

You are welcome to repeat this process as often as necessary. Please do not be discouraged if you find that you must repeat these meditations many times before healing feels complete. If you stay focused on your intention to heal and be healed, healing will come. Remember that reading the meditations with the intention to heal is healing in itself. Doing the fire meditation offers a deeper dimension of healing. It means making the effort to show up for yourself in a very real way. The small place inside you responds when you show up for yourself with unconditional love.

Healing

Healing often happens in layers, like peeling an onion. Instead of becoming discouraged when you find another layer, be grateful that you are moving closer to your Center where no healing is needed, because here you are whole. In wholeness—holiness—there is no separation, no enemy, no friend, no animosity, and hence no forgiveness is necessary.

Expanding your Fire Meditation Experience

1. Practice with another person: If you are in relation to someone who is willing, you may like to practice this meditation together. In this case, place the candle between you, sit across from each other, and gaze into the fire. When you are ready, look into each other’s eyes, and follow the procedure outlined above.

2. Practice with yourself: You may also practice the meditation by visualizing yourself in the light of the flame. In this case, imagine that you are looking into your own eyes, willing to see yourself as you are, willing to heal the conflicts you have with and within yourself.

Dopamine

Dopamine is the brain’s master 'pleasure' chemical. This single neurotransmitter is responsible for a plethora of mental and physical processes. By learning how to stimulate your own dopamine levels naturally, you can help depression, anxiety, apathy, and fear, while boosting feelings of pleasure created by this amazing little neuron.

πŸ’•πŸ’–Here is a nice list of ways to increase Dopamine in your brain -- besides reading your nice uplifting lessons and visiting your nice uplifting classroomπŸ˜ŠπŸ’– I borrowed it from this site: http://themindunleashed.com/2017/12/increase-your-dopamine-levels-naturally-and-never-feel-depressed-or-anxious-again.html

Singer/songwriter Hirth Martinez turned the blues into a song, "Oh, the blues is a terrible thing, but it's beautiful to sing." So you can also sing your blues away, or ✎ write a song🎢, a poem, or a letterπŸ’Œ to your πŸ˜‡angels. Click below for more ideas...

Sometimes

Sometimes we can only breathe
with someone
through the pain
sometimes that is all that is necessary
just to breathe
and remind someone of the steady rhythm of life
the rhythm that is always here
in birth, in life, in death
our fear of having no breath
is the greatest fear

the angels say, you are breath
you are life itself
how can what you are ever cease to be?
therefore, fear not, though the earth be removed
and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea
God is your refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble

Sometimes all we can do is breathe
through the great grief
through the great hole that opens
through the great despair
sometimes we can only breathe

Suggested Homework

Be Naked
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRUErh47sao
Sit with your body and be naked. Completely naked. In mind and body. Be open. Open to Receive.
Turn your attention to any scars, imperfections on your body, places of pain that need your attention.

Lovingly turn your attention towards that scar. Caress it. Hold it. Hold it with all the love and care you can. Feel its need. Feel your need. The need to love and be loved. The need to accept and be accepted.

Feel that scar or imperfection or pain as part of your being, not separate. Nothing to be ashamed of or to hide. If there is anything or anyone to forgive, allow forgiveness to arise—just to arise—no need to know what forgiveness should look or feel like. Just let it arise like a soft touch bringing healing and release.

Let the past, the past that created that scar or pain, let it go. Let everything go. And be here now in loving acceptance of what is.

Repeat this as often as you need. It is better to send love and acceptance to places of pain and sorrow than to send hate and anger. Love and acceptance bring healing. Just as the angels love and accept you and so bring light unto you, so be here now with yourself in loving acceptance and peace and so bring light unto yourself.

Without masks. Without barriers. Without resistance. At least try.

Coffee, Coffee everywhere...

Hello,
I was just reading something and thought I would share it with you. Not that I am advocating Starbucks or any sort of drink, but I like the message -- which is not to be too hard on ourselves, to realize that we are on earth to have fun in the moment we are in. I highlighted in blue the part I like best.
"Now, if you're the type to indulge in a decadent concoction like Starbucks' Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino once every couple of months with a good friend or two, so long as your body isn't clearly distressed from these occasional treats, who's to say that the good vibes that are generated from occasional happy outings with your besties don't outweigh the potential stress that such treats place on your endocrine system? As I like to say, it feels a little inconsequential to strive to be healthy just to be healthy; good health is best sought to allow for a life that is abundant in love, gratitude, and meaning, right?
The idea is to be sensibly balanced with our daily choices, and to be aware that if we choose to drink coffee, we need to be moderate in quantity and choose the best quality available." Dr. Ben Kim

A HEALING MEDITATION FOR BODY, MIND, SPIRIT

Your body is a vessel. The body contains not only what you eat and breathe, but also what you think, imagine and feel. We are affected at every level by what we think and believe. Your school guides you to becoming aware of the beliefs that form your reality. Your school encourages you to become free of beliefs you have been holding onto since childhood, even lifetimes, which form your identity--your false identity.

Your school reaches deep within your conditioned mind to free you from the beliefs that limit and control your life, so you can think for yourself.

Pains and illnesses in the body are directly related to your thinking. We cannot help but have certain pains in the body, because the body is physical, subject to the physical laws of the universe. But the way you respond to pain also determines the way pain manifests.

Some people feel a small pain in their body and react with fear or anger. Some people run immediately for pain pills. Some want to learn about that pain, why it is there and what it means. Some respond with love to the place of pain.

This is not to say that all pain and illness can be healed by our thinking, but our thoughts can make pain and illnesses worse and harder to heal from. We are whole beings. What affects any part of body, mind, or soul, affects everything.

What you are not aware of controls you. When you become aware of limiting beliefs, they begin to lose control over you.

Imagine that your body is slowly being filled with Soft Healing Golden Light. Give this light a fragrance that appeals to you. You are now being filled with Soft Golden Healing Fragrant Light. Gentle and warm, this fragrant golden light begins to fill your body.

See yourself standing in a warm fragrant golden puddle of Light
Your toes are filling with this light
The light is covering and filling your feet
Up to your ankles
Moving up through your calves
Deep into and around your knees
Up through and into your thighs
Deep into your hips, both hips equally
Healing, balancing your hips

Let your hips receive
Let your hips receive
Let your hips receive

Aligning and balancing your hips
Now the light moves deep into your belly
Around to your lower back

Swirling through all your sexual creative organs
Healing, Warm, Passionate Light
Moving now into your solar plexus
Filling your solar plexus

Calm Healing Warm Fragrant Golden Light
Moving up through your spine
Filling your back and each vertebra

Upward and inward into your heart
And lungs
Penetrating each organ
With healing golden light

Continuing into your heart
Completely filling your heart with Golden Fragrant Light
The light circles upward to your shoulders
Releasing all burdens
Your shoulders letting go, relaxing
Floating within the light

Warm Golden Fragrant Light
Flowing down into your arms
Your hands
Your fingers

Breath deeply
Inhaling fragrant warm golden light.
Up to your chin
Filling your neck
Filling your mouth
Tasting warm golden light

Nectar on your tongue
Filling each tooth
Filling your head
Shining out through your third eye

Becoming your hair
Up through the crown of your head
A Warm Golden Healing Crown of Light

Your whole body filled now
With Healing Fragrant Warm Golden Light

Your whole body
Breathing Golden Light
Free of pain
Whole, Complete, Healed
Now and Forever.

Say NO! to painful thoughts

When you stop looking outward and blaming others for your inner pain, you can heal more quickly. You can become consciously aware of the negative thoughts that persuade you that you must continue to suffer for something that happened yesterday or might happen tomorrow. You can say NO! to those thoughts. You do not have to allow them entrance into your psyche, your private place, the most sacred penetralia of your mind that belongs to you and you alone. No thought has the right of entrance unless you permit it.  - Lesson One, Conscious Awareness
