Real Life

     Don’t be afraid to die to what you imagine you are. You don’t know that you imagine you know who you are. You would vow that your imagination is you. All you have ever known is your acquired nature.

     God says, and Christ taught, that if you will die to your illusory self, which is a time-nature, you will have a spiritual nature that is endless and can never die.

     Part of your false belief in yourself is that you are this very familiar physical body. Your hair is a certain color, you are 5’10” tall, you are 40 years of age, male or female physical structure. Calling yourself the body and your acquired thoughts, knowing they die, you fear death. Of course, you do this, as long as you take yourself as your time-nature.

     Your real nature does not go by the clock or calendar. It is not physical. It isn’t your fleeting thoughts and emotions. That’s your mistake. As long as you make this mistake, you will be afraid of all conditions. As long as you call yourself a marvelous person or a flop, as long as you call yourself anything in time, you will be scared and not have everlasting life. That is what Christ taught. What do you think all true teachings are about, except to understand that you are not your time-nature. Look and see what a mess you are, and that will prove you think you are your body and experiences.

     Simply let go and die to your false, artificial beliefs about yourself and there can be no fear of death because you have died to death. Die to the belief that you are your thoughts about yourself. Die to that and you will die to death. You are under death now. You have no life.

     Pray. Ask God to show you how to die. It doesn’t matter how awkward you are, or how little you know what you are talking about.

      When you die, you will know you have died. You will not think the way you now think. You won’t have the death you now have. You are living in death without knowing it.

     Christ came to teach people how to abolish death and they killed him.

     You have got to get rid of your own hypocrisies that are keeping you in a state of death.

Dearest, By now it should be apparent to you that you do your spiritual work for your own enlightenment. When you work for your spiritual enlightenment, you work for the enlightenment of all beings. You serve earth herself. You serve God whom angels love and serve.

A Loveliness

A swarm of ladybugs is called a loveliness. A loveliness of ladybugs. What if we replaced the idea of loneliness with loveliness? What if we were so in love with the purity of our own soul that we were never alone? What if we loved our aloneness? A loveliness of aloneness. What if sometimes we just laughed right out loud, all alone by ourselves, for no reason the mind can figure out. What if we laughed with the pure loveliness of being here now?

Be like a baby — a baby discovers its toes...and moves into childhood on a path of discovery. Somewhere, ego, takes over. We forgot we are only discoverers in God's vast creation — we have never created anything, we are in control of nothing, we shape nothing — we can only Discover what IS. Then life is an exciting adventure in this pure and perfect present moment.

Plans & Visions

  Dearest & Nearest,

Your plan for your life may have nothing to do with God’s plan. God’s plan is what happens. Your plan is what you think will happen. This does not mean that you should not make plans. Life must be lived; plans must be made.

You might plant an apple tree with a vision of mouth-watering red apples in your mind. Just when the apples are about ready to eat, you get a new job in a new country. You never eat those apples, but you eat new fruit in a new country and someone else enjoys the apples you left behind. Or maybe a storm destroys your tree and all of your apples. You cannot eat those apples, but you still benefit from having planted and loved a tree, and so does the earth! 

An old Chippewa Indian axiom advises, “If your eyes cry because of losing the sun, your tears will not allow you to see the stars.”

It can feel so sad to lose something or someone you cherish. No one can say that sadness is not real for you. Emotions are part of being human. To push away or deny feelings is to be less than alive. Feelings must be acknowledged if they are to be resolved and dissolved into love—not hidden away to become clouds that obscure the light from shining through. When we are free to experience a feeling completely, we are also free to move on from that experience. Emotions can be either a flowing river, cleansing and freeing, or a dam that stops the flow.

If you cannot linger to taste even one apple from the tree you have planted, feel your longing; cry your tears—but please do not take old tears with you to the new country to which you are traveling. Neither hold a grudge at the storm for destroying your tree. The angels might change that old Chippewa saying to, “If your eyes cry too long because of losing the sun, your tears will not allow you to see the stars,”—and add another, “If your eyes never cry, your unshed tears may become clouds that obscure the light of God from shining clearly through you.”

Maybe you thought you were planting the tree to eat apples. Maybe God put the vision in your mind, not to eat apples, but as part of a greater plan. Maybe it was as simple as planting and loving a tree for a while, reaping the benefits of sun and exercise, filling your mind with the beauty of nature, giving back to the earth, and leaving a lovely legacy.

Darkness cannot understand Light! And darkness can NOT put out  the Light.  So fear not the darkness. It is simply your wrong understanding. It is not real except as you make it real by believing in it. 

The angels say: O Beautiful One. Why believe in that which is not real, which was never real, which is made real only through ignorance? When your wrong understanding dissolves, so does darkness.

The Great Body of Love

While we are a spiritual school, we always recognize that the spiritual includes the physical. Angels, who have no physical bodies, never forget what it means to be incarnated in a physical body. There are many physical bodies upon earth. Human egos tend to think of only their own body because, as you know, ego believes it is the Center of Everything. This cannot be, because God is the Center of Everything. God is Everything. God is the Center. God IS. Ego is not. Ego is a mere belief, a false belief.

There are many bodies upon earth. Human bodies. Bodies of animals. Bodies of trees, grasses, grains, seeds, nuts, and flowers; the great body of the ocean and all the bodies that exist within the ocean; the bodies of mountains, boulders, rocks, and pebbles; the bodies of the forest and everything that dwells within the forests.

The sap of trees is their life blood -- no less important or significant than the life blood of humans. The life blood of animals is as important as the life blood of humans. The First People of the earth knew this. When they chose to take the life of an animal, plant, or herb for food, medicine, or clothing, they knew to honor that life, not to take it recklessly, in game or sport or cruelty -- to take only what they needed for their own life. They knew to ask the earth for the blessing of that body.

Even money has a body -- the body of the tree or minerals from which it is made. Humans take the body of the earth and create money and then call that money "mine." People hoard that money, which comes from the body of the earth, and believe they are stronger or better or wiser because they have more money than someone else. They forget that someone else helped them "make" that money. In reality, no one makes money. They simply accumulate money.

Human beings work in rain forests and jungles, on plantations, in sweat shops and factories, on farms, on the land, and in offices. Without all these people working so hard, no one who is called "rich" could become rich. But "rich" people forget this. They forget that everything they have, even the money they hold in their hand, comes from the great richness of Mother Earth. Everything that IS upon the face of the earth comes from the Mother. It is She who gives birth to everything. 

So remember to give thanks to Mother Earth. Honor Her. Make friends of the trees, many of whom are older than you will ever be. Even something as small as a bee performs a function that is vital to maintaining the life of humans. Bees can exist without human life, but humans cannot exist without bees.

Honor the Great Body of Love, Mother Earth

MOTHER GOD

For this moment, let us experience God in the Feminine Form, as Divine Mother

Give every moment to Mother God. Entrust your heart to the keeping of Mother God. It sounds so simple, perhaps too simple. Angels love what is simple. Life is simple when you lovingly accept yourself as you are and life as it is.

Melt into softness. Each moment is new. Accept what is and what is not. In the newness of the moment you are alive! You are here! You are present! Life in a human body is brief, too brief to spend time being absent, unaware, trapped in thoughts that come like a wall between you and life.

Know that you are loved more than you could ever dream, because you are God's dream, and in God's dream there is only love, no matter what the outer appearance seems to be.

Everything is Offered

 

The angles say .... Dearest One -- Yes, everything is offered. Everything comes to everyone from the hand of God. That is an absolute Truth. There is never a reason to feel lack, loss, fear, or limitation, even though it is the world most humans live in. Look into your mind. Really look. Look until you see. Really SEE! See what is hidden there. See what is ruling your life. Take the crown from the thoughts you worship and place it directly upon your own head. Yes. Do it now.

At least in imagination do it now. Visualize this crown upon your head. Is it golden? Is it shining? Is it filled with light? Is it made of light? Is it light? Yes! It is! It is light. It is a shining halo of light, right, the might that ascends from God, the great God, the God of Light.

The only necessary thought is PRACTICAL THOUGHT. Remember this and do not forget this! All thoughts that lead you down the dark stairway to the dark basement of loneliness and fear, competition and comparison -- all those thoughts are unnecessary. They are not vital to your true existence. They are vital to your false existence. Take the crown from those thoughts! Cease to worship false thoughts, because then you will have a false you.

Look into your mind. SEE those false thoughts! See that you must be worshiping them, or how else could you feel so bad so often? You are not bad. You are good!

GOODNESS is your true nature, because it is the nature of God, and God is your true nature. Negative thoughts of lack, loss, fear, and limitation are not your true nature. You just got lost in them. You got lost in the dark forest of ego. No matter! Angels will help you when you want to be helped. Angels offer you pure bright crystals of Truth. Hold out your hands! Open your hearts! Open your minds! Open your entire being to receive the pure bright crystals of Truth the angels offer you each moment. Let your heart chant constantly the name of God. Let your mind be so filled with God that the light radiates, shines out from you like a halo, a shining crown of Light, bright, right within your true sight.
