Quote

John the Baptist, Leonardo da Vinci

You must realize, my dear child, that not everyone in the world is like you. There are those who walk among us, who have NO HEART. They may look like you and me, but where their heart should be, is only a rusted-out, vacant hole, rimmed by ragged iron teeth.

Most likely, their heart was torn out; stolen away from them, earlier in life. All that remains is an ugly, gaping wound. They are wounded, and in turn wound others. Get too close to them, and their jagged edges will rip you open.

Because they have no blood of their own, they delight in causing others to BLEED. Inflicting pain distracts them from their own desolation, and indeed, they often draw a strange delight and satisfaction from casting a spell of misery over those they encounter.

YOUR PAIN is their food, and they will seek to draw you into their gravitational pull and DEVOUR the light within you. They are the empty ones, moving through this world like hungry ghosts. I do not tell you this to make you afraid, but only to warn you that such souls exist.

You must learn to see past the smooth words and masks they will use to lure you into their grasp. Read the signs. Pay attention to your intuition, heeding the inward bells of warning. They walk among us, but they are not like us. J. M. Green

JOY

JOY

Where I go in this world,
I bring joy with me.
I don't ask for joy,
I ask, how can I
Bring joy to others!
Joy is abundant,
Don't seek it,
Bring it!

Paul Gauguin

In case the sun is not shining where you are today, or you can't find it in your heart and soul (even though it is always there)...here is a blast of light and color to remind you...

transmuting negativity into the Gold of God

Dearest & Nearest,

Even as Mother Earth is undergoing traumatic changes because human beings have populated it for so many eons, without  caring for  hereven so, Mother Earth remains in loveshe is IN Love—not outside of love.

Only humans are outside of love. Humans have thus  far failed in their responsibility to care for Mother Earth and all of her children. This did not happen suddenly. It happened over eons of time.

Just as a drop of water dripping slowly over eons can create a  cavern—so has the unconsciousness of human beings as a whole created the crisis that we are now  experiencing.

What is the answer? The first and most important answer is—YOU become conscious. YOU practice awareness in each moment.

YOU be intelligent. YOU live with awareness. YOU know what is happening in your body, mind and feelings. YOU be conscious so that the negative aspects of your being can be transmuted into gold—the Gold of God.

Just as the great artist, Vincent van Gogh, devoted himself to creating beauty upon canvas—using paint to turn his pain into love upon the canvas—transmuting negativity into the Gold of  God—so can you.

with love & devotion, as always...

Writing, Drawing, Learning, Evolving

I have talked a lot about writing in our monthly school lessons. But it seems I have neglected drawing. I just found this about drawing: https://www.inc.com/jessica-stillman/drawing-is-fastest-most-effective-way-to-learn-according-to-new-research.html

This article says that drawing is a way to learn better and faster. Research studies confirm this. You can read the article if you want to know more.

I am extrapolating this to higher learning. When you have a problem—try drawing it out. If it is with another person, draw that person. Draw yourself. Draw all aspects of the situation. You don't have to be talented at drawing. The study above says it doesn't matter how well you draw to learn more effectively—just draw.

Besides, drawing helps develop hand/eye coordination. And the more you draw, the better you become at it—learning by doing.

Drawing can also be a meditation. You focus all of your energy in that moment. It is also creative. You and Creation working together as One. You can draw out any problem or situation. Drawing allows you to tune into intuition. To the creative process. To possibly contact deeper and higher places within yourself.

Draw out decisions you are struggling with. Maybe draw all the possible outcomes you can think of.
Draw your emotions.

Maybe have a drawing group. I am thinking of Britta now, as I write, who is a new student here. Britta teaches painting. To paint really well, it's best if you know how to draw first, at least according to most artists. Certainly this was true for Leonardo da Vinci, who spent time mastering drawing, as did most great artists. This doesn't mean that one must or should draw as part of therapeutic painting, because painting and the use of color also has great benefits. I encourage artistic creation of all kinds.

My beloved Hirth was an artist, a master guitar player, singer/songwriter, and musician. He did these things everyday: He drew. He created art using different media. He played his guitar. He sang. He wrote. He meditated. Everyday. He was very disciplined in this way.

So think about drawing. Think about using your creative powers. Whatever I have written about writing in your lessons, you can probably apply most of it to drawing too.

Much love, Indira

You are . . .

Dearest One  Dearest Light  Lovely child of God

YOU are the romance of the stars
the complete peace of space that holds the stars in place
the tree that falls never alone in the forest
the limitless space the tree falls through
the earth which embraces its falling
the bird that flees its branches
the empty sky the bird flies to
the sound of every tree falling
the one who hears the sound of every tree falling

You are your darkest hour
You are the light that fills that hour

ANGELS see you in your darkest hour
Angels arrive in the moment of need
Angels are that fast, that compassionate, that kind
Angels know you are not angel

You are human with all the qualities of being human

Angels understand this
They understand the pain that accompanies a human body
Angels honor you for being here in such a fragile vessel
so vulnerable to pain and death
Angels sing your courage, your willingness
to experience this human plane of existence.

Mark Twain

"Nothing exists. All is a dream.
God—man—the world—the sun, the moon, the wilderness
of stars—a dream, all a dream; they have no existence.
Nothing exists save empty space—And you.…
And you are not you—you have no body, no blood, no
bones, you are but a thought."

Art

STUNNED INTO SILENCE

Words strung together in wondrous ways become works of art. Everything is a color that comes from the light that comes from God. Wise and wonderful words are colors angels use to paint the pictures God wants painted. Meaningful words strung together in an artistic way can have the effect, not only of educating the mind, but also of stunning it into silence. This is one reason why the same ideas are repeated in these lessons, and in life, by so many teachers of wisdom.
There is art, and there is the observation of art. Moments of perfect art—a sunrise, a birth, a melody—can have the effect of stunning the mind into silence. In such moments, the separation that is at the root of suffering vanishes.
So you can see that everyone experiences moments of perfect art, moments of enlightenment, moments of complete absorption when ego disappears. These moments can also happen when we are completely absorbed in work or play. Children easily enter into imagination, becoming one with whatever game they are playing. Since we were all children once, we all have this ability, even if we have forgotten it. It is meditation. It is unison. It is peace.
Angels are always completely absorbed in the moment. This is why we say that an angel with a job is like a child at play.
