Snow!

This is where I grew up and where I am going December 15. Into the snow belt of western New York State. This is what the thruway looks like today! And it isn't even the first day of winter yet! I will need plenty of snow angels!

And here is a car buried in snow. Oh my!
I have to fly into here soon! To spend
Christmas with my Mom. Oh my!

Pennsylvania

Good Morning from Warren, Pennsylvania. The Conewango River runs through New York State and into PA. I grew up in NYS along the Conewango river so I have a special affinity for rivers. River angels are sublime and hardly ever pay attention to human beings. They almost never stay in the same place for long, so it is not easy to become well acquainted with a river angel, even if you should happen to glimpse one of their shimmery gliding forms. I have been giving many readings here and meant some lovely new people who are open to spirituality and understanding themselves. The friend I am staying with, Holly, does Reiki and makes healing jewelry from stones and crystals. The town is old and quaint. Here, and in Jamestown, NY, where I will soon return to, the area is rural and surrounded by the Alleghany forests and mountains...which is the home of deer, foxes, black bears, coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and many other animals. I see deer nearly every day. It is also the abode of nature spirits and fairies, and abundant with plants, flowers, and trees of all kinds.

Traveling in Japan

Good morning, at least it is morning in Japan. Antje is traveling too and so are many of you I imagine this summer. Besides having fun, seeing new sights, and meeting new people, travel also gives us the opportunity to refresh ourselves...get a new perspective...break free of habits and attitudes that do not serve us. As spiritual students, we avail ourselves of every opportunity to learn and grow. Fun and laughter are one of the best ways to grow. Not only is joy and laughter good for the immune system, it helps to spread happiness to others. So give yourself permission to experience good feelings wherever you are. I am writing about my trip through Japan on both my website blog.

Austin and more...

Just to let you know I am heading to Austin this morning December 2  and will return to L.A. December 8th. There are no students in Texas yet. However I will be giving readings there. I will have my laptop with me, so we will be in touch.
Also, your classmate Ruth is recovering from surgery and maybe if you have a chance, you can send a bit of healing light and love her way. Even mentioning her name here in the classroom brings soothing love to her. We love you, Ruth, and wish you well.
