How nice to visit the Open Classroom tonight and find a post by someone who isn't me, and a nice picture and zen saying from Korean Kyong Ho. Zen has always been a bit beyond me, though I know you are drawn to it, Dick. Still, I always like to read Zen sayings.
Thank you for the meaningful poetry, Dick. You are a Zen artist yourself. Reminds me of Haiku, so much said in so few simple lines, still and to the point.

ReplyDeleteClearly and simply, what is there beyond you?
ReplyDeleteLight within and light without?
I wonder:
in order to be light
must one submit
to burning?
"Still, I always like to read Zen sayings."
ReplyDeleteAh, beyond it all
it is best to read them
still.
Hi Jazzolog,
ReplyDeleteI love poetry too. Poetry is BEAUTY.
Even tho a lot of poetry is beyond me, I do love the beauty and truth I do fine in the lines I understand.
Thanks for sharing this.
