Many of you write to me instead of writing in Your Open Classroom. Here is an experience that your classmate, Ron, shared with me. He is a Quaker, also called Friends, and he was at a Quaker healing retreat. Everyone was sitting in a circle at "Worship for Healing" meeting on a Sunday morning, with an empty chair in the center, which anyone could go sit in if they felt the need to have healing energy focused on them. This is the experience Ron had that morning, in his own words. He gave me permission to post this for all of you.
"I was sitting in deep meditation and I heard someone get up and take the seat in the center. Soon after, I heard a rather loud, "Hello!" It seemed like a woman's voice and sounded a little familiar, but I still haven't been able to "place" it. I opened my eyes to see who had spoken, and no one else seemed to have heard anything, but when I looked at the person in the chair in the center, there was a being standing behind the chair which may have been an angel. I couldn't really see the face because I was looking at (her?) from the left hand side. Appeared to be fairly tall, maybe 6 feet or more, and looked like a sculpture carved out of cloud. I thought female because the clothing looked like a long dress. It had a really frilly texture, or maybe it was made of feathers. The colors were cloud colors, a mixture of shades of white, grey, blue, and pink. There was a bit of a glow like sunshine through clouds. As soon as I placed my attention there, the vision disappeared.
Over the course of the few weeks I've had to digest the experience, I've come to understand that the "hello" I heard was the angel announcing her presence, something I could have easily missed, since being in a meeting with a lot of experienced Friends has a strong sense of divine presence anyway. I also wonder if this angel has a particular relationship to me, or more to the person sitting in the chair? I know I have assistance when I am doing healing work, and I probably wouldn't be willing to do the work if I didn't. Since this was a workshop weekend for people who do healing work I'm sure everyone there also has assistance when they are doing work, so the angel could have had an association with anyone there, but it seems like I was the only one who heard the. Hello!" and I know that all of us have experiences that are unique to us because our senses are also unique to us.
I welcome your responses and look forward to more opportunities to share our journeys.

Thank you, Ron, for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful experience and what a nice thought that there is always an assistance if healing work is done.
Best regards, Monika
Angels have different "jobs" and they like working. There is no angelic hierarchy in the way that human beings may imagine. Angels do not think in terms of higher and lower. Angels have no need to puff themselves up with grandeur. Angels know that all jobs originate from the same Source, and are equal and beneficial when offered as selfless service to God.
ReplyDeleteThere are Angels of Healing who assist us to strengthen the power of the individual to heal, in accordance with the will of God. Humans may call upon the Angels of Healing to assist them. Angels love to work, so they love it when you call upon them.
Angels are completely absorbed in the moment. This is why an angel with a job is like a child at play. Although angels love to work, angels are not heavy and serious. Angels are playful and light. Angels will always add this quality to your life and to your healing work.
Angels love serving and they love working together.
The angels give all glory, all the fruits of their labor to God whom angels love and serve.
Dear Classmates, I am sharing here another comment I received from someone who read Ron's post:
ReplyDeleteDear friends,
thank you so much Ron, for sharing your experience. It makes the retreat even more meaningful to me.
I often have similar experiences and would so love to connect and communicate with friends who would be able to listen with more than polite boredom, maybe even able to relate.
I too am honored and blessed to receive angelic help in much of my work, especially when I'm working with a very ill client, my recently cases of rejected organ transplant, cancer, kidney cysts etc.
In the light,
Hannelore

Dear Ron,
Your image of the angel spoke so strongly to me. I was so open during our weekend together. The feeling continues but to a lesser degree. It is hard to function on a daily basis when everything is felt so poignantly. I, like many others, know that my healing work has a power source from without. I feel the energy flow through me and actually energize me as it moves through. I also have always known that I was being watched over and protected. I am sure we all have angels. I love the angel that you saw and keep the image with me. Thank you, Anne
I appreciate you sharing your angelic vision with us Ron. I like knowing that someone in our class, besides Indira, also sees angels. I do not do healing work and I have not seen an angel, to my knowledge. I like seeing one through your eyes. I feel certain it was an angel you were experiencing. And thanks everyone else for your angelic sharings too. If I ever see an angel, you all will be the first to know! I do have angelic experiences though mine are more to do with feeling and with serendipity moments of understanding. I have no doubt but that angels are also at work in this great creation where everything is possible. It is just a matter of where we choose to focus our energy.
