Dear Students, Here is a short email I sent to a client who was asking about meditation and creative visualization. I am sharing it here with you. It contains a meditation and a short reading for this person, although I left out the more personal parts. Perhaps you can also benefit. Love to you as always.
Meditation
Sit quietly. Relax. Breathe. See yourself as calm and peaceful. Let peace and calm fill your entire mind, body, spirit. Ask that you be illuminated with Divine Light — True Intelligence and Intuition. Ask that your mind and heart be open to receiving what the Light has to give you.
Watch your thoughts come, and let them go. Stay centered in the peace and calm of your heart. Be aware of every thought. When a thought pulls you away, bring yourself back to the peace in your heart. Watch your mind trying to tell you stories, pull you away, disturb your serenity. Bring yourself back to the remembrance of peace as often as you need to, each time your mind pulls you away.
----
Practicing this can (1) help you become aware of the thoughts that run (ruin) your life with their false stories, (2) guide you to the peace in your heart, (3) put you in touch with the Light that has everything you need, knows what is best for you, and wants to give you everything.
Each day our lives are run by cruel and false thoughts. The way to freedom is to become aware of what is running (ruining) your life. And to then understand that there is a higher Guidance that can give you everything you need, when you let yourself be guided by IT instead of negative thinking.
Creative visualization can uplift your spirit and fill you with greater confidence. You can “see” yourself walking into a job situation, for example, —with full confidence, smiling, perfect for the job that you want. What is important is that your THINKING, FEELING, AND ACTING must match.
You are fully capable of supporting your life. You are intelligent and have much to offer. Remember to “think outside of the box.” Perhaps you are thinking along the same lines over and over—when you need to step out of those lines.
One of your weaknesses is that you sometimes spend more time thinking about how to help other people, rather than centering on helping yourself. It is not selfish to want to help yourself first. When you help yourself, you have more to offer others. You have many ideas of what it is to be “good” — and sometimes those ideas get in the way of letting you know what natural goodness is.
Stay practical in your life.
