Fructose & your health
Fructose-containing sugars cause weight gain not only because of the calories they contain, but by triggering your "fat switch." They tell your body it's time to store fat, just as if you were an animal preparing for hibernation. By avoiding fructose and "turning off" your fat switch, you can help prevent or treat obesity. Fructose is not a healthy alternative to sugar, so do your best to avoid it.

ReplyDeleteI love!!! your new LOGO for the clear&simple way-made for you.
Thanks. I love that you love the new logo. My friend, Mary Kay, who is a graphic artist, created the logo.
ReplyDeleteI also just ate my first organic nectarine. Exquisite. They are so delicate. I can imagine wood fairies feasting on them.
And yes, rainbow colored foods are wonderful for health and well-being. We can slide down the rainbow and land in a pot of gold, but if we are spiritually hungry, we will still be hungry, no matter how much gold we find. And if our bodies are not properly nourished, we will be hungry, no matter how much food we eat. Treats and sweets can be fine, so long as we maintain a healthy balance.
ReplyDeleteWhat about rainbow trout? LOL. Just kidding. Well, not quite, I eat trout, though I am not a fisherman. I buy it fresh from the market, when I can. I am eating more fruits and vegetables though, and I feel lighter and healthier. And I think the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is God, not gold!
