This first and last Christmas of 2009
I wish a circle of peace around the universe . . .
This first and last Hanukkah of 2009
I wish a circle of light around the universe . . .
I wish food for those who hunger.I wish companionship for those who are lonely.
I wish serenity for those who are angry.
I wish sweetness for those who are bitter.
I wish truth for those who are lost in darkness.
I wish light for those who have lost their way.
I wish comfort for those who sorrow.
I wish friends for those who are isolated.
I wish homes for those who have none.
I wish warmth for those who are cold.
I wish the end of desire for those who desire.
I wish the strength of God for those who suffer.
Dear Judy
ReplyDeleteI have a problem, but I notice, it is difficult to ask the correct question to it. If I do not desire, how can I codesign my future with positive thoughts?
Lots of Love
Ruth
It's a good question, Ruth. Have you found an answer? I will write one soon. I just got into L.A. and haven't slept all night.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to our teacher's answer too, Ruth. Thanks for asking this question. It reminds of Lesson Two--asking the "right" question if we want to get the right answer!
ReplyDeleteDear Judy
ReplyDeleteLast night was exactly the correct time for me to read the new lesson. I think that was the reason why I couldn't open it earlier : ) The homework I made however already last week??? and today I got an answer of master Kuthumi to the topic desire and positvie thinking. He says: Depending upon the kind of the heart desire we must solve appropriate tasks before we reach the goal. How long that lasts, we can influence neither with our will nor with positive thoughts. Exactly the same as we can`t influence the optimal baking time of bread . This explanation gives me new strength to continue to work on the fulfillment of my heart desire.
I hope, you feel soon better.
Lots of Love
Ruth
Hi Ruth, I hear here that you were intuitively ahead of your homework!
ReplyDeleteI like that you found an answer that nourishes your soul.
...the end of desire, perhaps it means all desires have been fulfilled; perhaps that the one who desires has merged into the One, in perfect fulfillment.
It sounds like you have a vision, which you call your heart's desire.
Here is what the angels say about VISION:
Vision is a vital, expansive part of life. Vision is a light shining in your heart. Vision exists in the NOW.
Expectation jumps in and crowds out the innocent, expansive energy of vision. Vision can let go. Expectation can only grab. Expectation insists on its own way and experiences a big letdown that can lead to depression and resentment when it does not get what it wants.
Expectation travels heavy with demands, attachments, and ego. Vision travels light. Vision exists in the heart in perfect faith. Expectation takes hold of that vision and calls it “mine.”
A beautiful understanding of vision and faith can be found in the words of Sun Bear, a medicine chief and sacred teacher of Chippewa descent, “If our vision or medicine told us to move again we would do that, because we cannot be arrogant. We must accept what our vision tells us.”
p.s. Ruth...the 2010 message on my website may be helpful for you in walking the path of your heart's desire.
ReplyDeleteDear Judy
ReplyDeleteThank you for your answer and for the message 2010.
Expectation jumps into the vision...
Thats the problem. To live without expectation would solve many problems.
Lots of love
Ruth
yes, Ruth...to live without expectation is to truly live, here and now, in divine fulfillment. Look how far you have traveled, just since you read about the "end of desire" and asked your question!--hence, the value of questions...asked from an open heart.
ReplyDeleteFor now, try a little perspective...try sitting back and looking at "Ruth and her expectations"...as if you are just curious about Ruth and her life. Whenever you find yourself getting "involved" in her particular drama, take a breath, bring yourself back to witnessing...and see what happens...
meanwhile, your Open Classroom is always here and you will always be guided deeper within by your questions and the answer you find...
even the answers you receive here are only signposts along the way that lead you gently to your own true answers...
Thank you Judy
ReplyDeleteThats a good idea. I am already
curious about the answers.
Sunny greetings
Ruth
the end of ego desire is the end of suffering...the heart lives in the present, eternally fulfilled...
ReplyDeleteRuth, you asked: how can I co-design my future with positive thoughts?
ReplyDeleteRuth, when your thoughts are positive, so is your experience of life. Then it as if you are planting beautiful seeds in your garden, which will blossom naturally into a beautiful future.
Negative thoughts rob us of our life, our energy, and keep us from living in the present moment. The mind itself is non-creative. Although this may veer from predominate new age thinking, it is nonetheless true. The mind is a receiver. If the mind could create one thing, it could create everything.
Think of the mind like a window through which the light of the sun shines. If the window is covered with dust, dirt, and grime, the sun cannot shine through, and the room is left in darkness.
Only by cleaning the dirt (unconscious, false, limiting, negative conditioning and beliefs) from the window (the mind) can the clear light of the sun (Truth) shine through, filling the room with light (understanding).
Your active participation in your School helps clear away the layers of false conditioning, so the Light of Understanding can shine through.
