Pumpkin Spice Latte

AUTHOR: Danielle Walker - AgainstAllGrain.com
SERVES: 4
PREP TIME: 5 mins
COOK TIME: 5 mins TOTAL TIME: 10 mins

Ingredients:

Note: You can also prepare it without the coffee and keep it in your refrigerator to use like a coffee creamer. Just blend it up quickly with a hand blender or blender when you add it to your coffee. This creamer works well with chai tea as well.

Instructions:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, whisking occasionally, until heated through and slightly frothy on top.
  2. Carefully transfer the liquid to a blender and cover the top with a towel. Blend on high for 30 seconds until foamy. Alternatively, use an immersion blender in the pot.
  3. Divide between 4 mugs.

Good idea!!!

See where the crowd is going and go the way meant for you . . .

Wolves

The natural world works together quite perfectly when human beings do not interfere in the ecosystem.

http://themetapicture.com/when-they-brought-these-wolves/

There are angels of meadows, forests, flowers, trees, and plants. Living in the moment, they work harmoniously together to maintain the sensitive balance of nature. Nature spirits are very intent upon their tasks, because so much of nature is disappearing due to the carelessness and cruelty of humankind, particularly the haphazard clearing of trees and rain forests. As the angels of nature are pushed further and further away, they have less and less contact with humankind. Still, they can be inspired to work with human beings when they sense that a person sincerely cares about and is dedicated to the preservation of nature.

The best antidote I know for worry is work. The best cure for weariness is the challenge of helping someone who is even more tired. One of the great ironies of life is this: He or she who
serves almost always benefits more than he or she who is served. - Gordon B. Hinckley

Grettings from Oberwil, Switzerland

I will be doing readings here all week and a seminar. If you are in Switzerland, come along. Don't miss this chance to experience how powerful the angelic energy has become. We had a very powerful seminar in Maibach. I was pleased to have students from the school there. Whenever students attend, their presence always raises the energy of the seminar, and makes everything that much more powerful. So thank you, those students who were there, for adding your energy.

Awake or Asleep?

Well, it is 4 am in Germany, and I have been awake since 3 am, while the rest of the world (at least on this side of the ocean) sleeps. On the other side of the ocean, people are awake in the sunlight. Wherever we are, we should strive to wake up. To do this, we must first realize that we are asleep -- that we live our lives unaware and unconscious. You can't wake up until you realize you are asleep.

Greetings from Mainz, Germany

. . . where I am with Monika in the beautiful rain falling outside as we sit inside. Penny is happy to walk in the cooler weather here, out of the raging desert heat of Los Angeles.

Remember - - - everything always turns out all right in the end. And if it isn't all right, then it isn't the end.

Bon Voyage!

Stopping by to wish Indira & Penny a safe and peaceful voyage across the ocean. I am getting a lot out of my current lesson. And appreciating the angelic gems! Love, Kevin

I'LL THINK OF YOU

Johanna wrote that the video will not display in Germany. That is a shame. Let's hope it changes. But for now, I can at least post the lyrics, even without the uplifting sounds of these enthusiastic young people singing and clapping.

Sam Tsui Lyrics

"I'll Think Of You"
(with Kurt Schneider, Sam Tsui, Alex G & Alyson Stoner)

I'll think of you as I go
So when I leave, you're not alone
And no matter where we are, we will never be that far
'Cause I will think of you as I go

I'll think of you as I dream
So when it's dark, you'll be with me.
And no matter where we are, we can look up to the stars.
And I will think of you as I dream.

Oh, it's a long and winding road
But you don't have to walk alone.
'Cause no matter where we are, I will keep you in my heart
And I will think of you as I go.

I'll think of you when I'm down
When my heart is on the ground
And I will never lose my way even if the skies are grey
'Cause I will think of you when I'm down

Oh, it's a long and winding road
But you don't have to walk alone.
'Cause no matter where we are, I will keep you in my heart
And I will think of you as I go.

[Breakdown]

Oh, it's a long and winding road
But you don't have to walk alone.
'Cause no matter where we are, I will keep you in my heart
And I will think of you as I go.

Using the Teachings

I've come to see how it doesn't matter how much I read, how much knowledge I have--the important question is--do I turn it into wisdom by making it my own? Do I find out for myself what is true, instead of mindlessly believing? This applies even to the magnificent angel lessons. Do I do practice the exercises? Do I put Truth first?

Each day I have many things I have to do, many things I want to do, and these all take up time. I make it a point to make time to sit with my school lessons each day, to do some quiet contemplations, some writing, some meditation. The other day some friends invited me to go out with them, and this time happened to be the time I had set aside for my spiritual practices--the only extra time I had that day. So the question for me was, do I use that time going out with friends or going in with my spiritual contemplation.

I was able to notice what was happening in my thinking. The very idea of going "out" was significant. My thinking was saying--I can't disappoint my friends, or they won't like me; I need go "out" and have fun. In the end, I decided to go against that thinking. I decided to stay in and go Inward.

I was glad I did. I felt a calm come over me. I saw how often I do something to please other people, but leave myself unpleased. I saw the ego trying to assert itself, trying to give me orders. I saw that often I do things to avoid facing my inner pain. I saw that I only have to, as I have read in the lessons, be pleasing onto God. That is all. I wound up doing just what I wanted to do all the time--stay home with myself and read my new lesson.

New Lesson--YES!

I found my new lesson waiting for me in my computer today. Thank you, Teacher! I see it was sent early--maybe because you will soon be traveling to Europe. Whatever the reason, I am glad to have it. Since I am in the very first class, I am now on the most recently written lesson, LESSON 71, THE EGO.

This is a perfect lesson for me. I always find that whatever monthly lesson I receive, it is just what I need to receive. Reading this lesson gives me a better understanding of the ego, as well as the world. Each sentence in the lesson gives me something. I especially resonated with these paragraphs:

The world is a manifestation of the collective unconscious of all the people who live here. We are responsible for creating the world. We can't just blame other people. We have to look inside and see the little wars we fight every day. We have to see how we create enemies to fight against. Often the enemies we create are the very people we profess to love the most. We get mad so easily. We get our feelings hurt so easily. We experience anger and hatred towards others instead of love and compassion.

Once you see this, if you are brave enough to see this, you are really on the spiritual path. You are telling the truth about yourself and all other people. You are on the path of understanding. You are understanding that it is not the outer wars that you must stop--it is the inner wars

I find what I am learning and receiving hard to put into words. It is like wearing new glasses, and so the world looks different. I read the lessons, but more importantly, I do the homework. I put into practice what I read here, so it can become part of me. One thing I have gotten from the school is that blind belief is useless and harmful. My way of thinking is changing. I feel I am waking up in small ways, and sometimes even large ways. I am not much of a writer, but I wanted to write today to express my thankfulness for the way the school is helping me to grow spiritually and also in a practical way. I am feeling a greater contentment with life, more acceptance. This is due to the angels influence, to the lessons, to the words our dearest Indira writes. The school is the best thing that ever happened to me. Thanks to everyone for being my classmate!
