Be a scientist of your own self. Dispassionately observe your reactions. In this way you come to understand yourself. When a scientist mixes certain chemicals together, the scientist cannot create a reaction that is not inherent in the chemicals. The scientist can observe the reactions of one chemical with another and thereby learn something. Be like a scientist. Notice your reactions. Learn from what you observe.
Come! Share the journey. You are not alone. The angels are here. Your classmates are here. Your teacher is here. You are here.

Buddha said . . .
You
can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more
deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that
person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in
the entire universe deserve your love and affection.

Poem To Myself
When in doubt
Be kind
I can be firm and still be kind
I can be honest and still be kind
I can tend the little seeds of kindness within me
I can shine sunshine when the world seems dark
So the tiny seeds of kindness within me
Are not afraid to grow
Right up to where my smile lives
I can close my eyes
And breathe kindness in
I can let kindness fill me
There is no benevolent reason
For meeting hostility with hostility
No kind reason for perpetuating little wars
God knows there's more than enough war
Out there already.
Be kind
I can be firm and still be kind
I can be honest and still be kind
I can tend the little seeds of kindness within me
I can shine sunshine when the world seems dark
So the tiny seeds of kindness within me
Are not afraid to grow
Right up to where my smile lives
I can close my eyes
And breathe kindness in
I can let kindness fill me
There is no benevolent reason
For meeting hostility with hostility
No kind reason for perpetuating little wars
God knows there's more than enough war
Out there already.

Rain in the city
Yes, it is raining in Southern California. Badly needed because of the drought, though I don't know if it will help much, unless it rains a lot. And there will be floods and mud slides. California is the biggest supplier of produce for the whole USA. So when crops suffer here, prices go up everywhere, and there are less fresh fruits and vegetables. Human beings are an interconnected species. We need each other in this sense. As independent as anyone might like to be, we are always interdependent. Everything we do effects everything else.

Remember To Move Your Body!!
In our school of angels and light and awareness we become aware of all things. We come to understand that all things are spiritual. Life is as spiritual as we decide to make it. Even when you feel limited and negative you can still take the opportunity to learn and grow from your experience. Feeling negative? Read some positive words from your lessons. Go take a walk in nature and tune into the nature angels. Or just sit and contemplate the negativity consciously. Feeling limited? Go outside and look into the expansiveness of the sky. Read some expensive sentences from your lessons. Put on music and dance. Or just sit and notice, really notice, what you are thinking and feeling.
At the moment I am sitting outside near the ocean and so the air is fresh and the sun is bright. Perfect southern California weather for this time of year before the heat of summer. Speaking of sitting, remember to move! The more you move and exercise the stronger you become. You want to stay strong so that you can have the emergy to do your spiritual work on this planet for many years to come. Even if you must sit a lot, try to get up often and move some. Shake yourself awake! Take some deep breaths. Jump up and down. Get your blood flowing. Keep your muscles strong!
That said, we will be sure to do more Qigong in my upcoming seminars. Speaking of upcoming seminars--they are coming. The East Coast Retreat is being planned for June. And the European Tour will be happening this fall. Stay tuned!

Greet God Gloriously
Take time to commune with God in your private
moments. Walk and think of God. Thank God for the food you eat. Think of food
as God. Kiss your little child good night as though he or she is God. Look into
your lover’s eyes as though your lover is God. Let this extend to all beings
everywhere. Pet your cat or your dog as though you are touching God. Greet
everyone as though you are greeting God. When you sleep at night, if you have
no one to hold, then hold yourself as though you are holding God. Greet each
morning as though you are waking safe in the arms of God’s love.
This does not mean you should be unwise. You do not run up to a mad elephant rumbling down the road with a smile on your face--because the elephant will trample you. You run in the opposite direction from mad elephants (and mad people), or at least get out of the way.

Take Care!

Love
I like this utube...showing the face of love in this little daughter...hope this link works okay. The wars in the world today are a tragedy for everyone. I know the angels are working to keep the world in balance, to keep some light shining in the darkness.

The wisdom of the genius Albert Einstein . . .
Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
Happy Growing Grass Mandalas

May miracles replace hatred
May miracles replace fear in me and in the world.

Be kind to the earth
Visit http://www.embracingtheworld.org/indeed to learn more about 6 small things you can do to make a big difference for our planet.
The angels of nature are being pushed further and further away as cement, buildings, and pollution take over our world. This is only because of unawareness. An aware person knows to treat the earth kindly. A person who treats the earth kindly knows to treat all beings kindly.
Earth is a being with feelings--a sensitive being of love. It is alive.
The way we interact with earth is the way we interact with ourself, with all living beings. When you want to change yourself, change the way you interact with the earth. Realize that you are in constant relation to earth. Resolve to be more loving towards the earth. The earth will love you back. You will actually feel the vibrations of sensitive mother earth. She will teach you, and when you are open, you will learn her lessons.

Talking about pain
Dear classmates,
Here's something I'd like to share with you:
What about the pain that is not "my" pain alone? Is there my pain, your pain, our pain? Hm, I don't really know. I couldn't call that pain "my" pain. But can pain be anywhere else but in "me", can it be any other than "my"?
What about these pains of generations, of families, of nations or women / men / animals,...? We find these, somehow inherited, in ourselves sometimes for things we didn't experience in this lifetime... What is that? Is there sort of a common, united ego that holds this pain up? Or what else is that, how is it different from the pain ego holds up in myself?
Or, regarding when I started and stopped actually being in touch with the pain... may it be the pain of separation, that is said all of us carry somewhere since when we left the One-ness? I don't know.
I ask myself about "the huge pain" since then... And I still don't know. I keep wondering.
My cat luckily made it home, by the way, a few days later. and from shortly before that, maybe an hour or half before, I started surrendering, feeling that whatever would happen would be all right and then I didn't feel the pain anymore, actually Sunshine came through the clouds just that Moment - since then I only remember the pain. And the memory starts to fade away...
I would like to invite YOU to ask yourself about pain with me here in the classroom... Let's heart-think TOGETHER, shall we? - I would love to hear what your hearts say....
Just as I say this, my heart says "what is pain? I don't know that"... but that's not what I felt then... I have a memory of deep heartache... pretty confusing...
So, dear classmates, thank you for listening...
Sending love...
Petra
Here's something I'd like to share with you:
In December, One of my cats disappeared... In the first night of her absence I tried to contact her from heart-to-heart and so came to know that she was trapped somewhere and that she was struggling and feeling cold and afraid. Starting in this moment, I got in touch with a huge pain that did not leave me a second for the following days. I just could not stop crying. Of course, I was afraid for my cat - but that wasn't the pain. It was bigger, seemingly endless... I couldn't even say "my" pain, it seemed the pain could be "bigger" than me. I didn't know what this pain was about, but soon I realized that my cats were the band-aids, the soothing balm on this pain. And I promised to look at this more closely - to be able to take the responsibilty to myself instead of laying the duty onto others, animal or person. I am grateful to my dear caring cats to help me where I still need to learn. So I asked myself what this huge, huge pain might be. I dare say that it isn't this or that old pain of this or that experience - although, all awkwardly stirred up... I couldn't really say for sure. It didn't feel that way, though. I don't know. But when the soul, the essence can never be hurt - which, personally, I found true for me - then That cannot be in pain, so left is only the Ego, isn't it?
What about the pain that is not "my" pain alone? Is there my pain, your pain, our pain? Hm, I don't really know. I couldn't call that pain "my" pain. But can pain be anywhere else but in "me", can it be any other than "my"?

Rainbows
Dearest Students,
I have written before (and on my website) about eating rainbow foods. Doesn't it sound exciting to think of eating RAINBOW foods? You could ask yourself, would a rainbow eat this? Just kidding. Sort of. What does a rainbow shine over? All the natural beauty of earth. So take a clue from the enchanting beauty of rainbows and do your best to add rainbows to your life -- cherries, apples, pomegranates, lettuce, kale, swiss chard, pumpkins, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage. And since you need rain for a rainbow, pure fresh water. I am not saying you must become a vegetarian, just be aware of what you put into your body.
I was talking just yesterday to a student about thinking of the body as a field. When we want a field to produce optimally, what do we do? We nurture the earth with organic compost and pure water. We rotate crops. We take care of the earth. Then the earth is nutrient rich. Those nutrients become part of the food we eat. With the right care, even bad soil can become healthy soil that will grow food and flowers.
Nature is our Teacher. Our bodies are composed of the same elements as the earth. Just as the earth can be healed with loving care, so can our bodies. It is true you are not your body and all bodies die one day, but why not live as healthy as you can for as long as you live?
Your body is a field. How your body grows depends on how you treat it. So treat it well. Feed your body rainbows. Love and nurture the body you have been given so that you might complete your spiritual journey here on earth. The body is the temple of the spirit. Treat it like a temple. It will make your spirit vibrate with happiness. Love to you today and always!
