Share my "story of the day" with you

I would like to share my "story of the day" with you:

This morning, when I went out of the house with my children to hit for school, Kindergarden and work, it was -20 degree celsius... too cold for me...but even worse: too cold for my car! Which happens to be a diesel engine and it didn't start, not with the first or third or fifteenth attempt. It sounded very bad to me, more like really beiing broken.
For some reason, I didn't want to give up - and so I asked the angels for help and I started to give Reiki to my car (not of the discrete kind... my children might have thought I'm doing some kind of witchcraft on it :-)) ...and it took only about 2 or 3 minutes and the engine started! even though it didn't sound as if it would; it just turned on then!
So that made my day this morning. :-)

I am not surprised about it - but I am happily amazed!
As I am happily amazed, every day, about the experience of beiing a spiritual being.

In some ways it is very clear, deeply ankered within me and I can live it pretty consciously (on my limited measures) - experiencing the freedom and the self-determination;
in others... well, I'm working on it.

Embrace each one.

Invite them to stay for eternity!

Listen! I will tell you their names, so

you will know them when they come!

Angels. God. Truth. Silence.
Compassion. Understanding. Freedom.

Acceptance. Patience. Receptivity.
Light. Love. Laughter. Forgiveness.


Enthusiasm. Meditation. Discipline.

Divine Intelligence. Divine Mother.

And all the nature spirits, faeries, and elves.

HAPPINESS AMONG THE STARS

Dear Students,

Some of you may have heard the recent news about the very famous, beautiful, and wealthy movie star whose husband was unfaithful and now they are going through a divorce. Without her handsome young husband, this actress is losing control, doing drugs, and generally destroying her life. 

The Language of Love

The language of love does not include sarcasm, swear words, put-downs, complaints about other people just for the sake of complaining, complaining about other people so we can bolster our own ego and feel superior, or any other negative quality. When in doubt about your language, ask yourself: Would I speak this way before an angel of power and light? To help you along your way, imagine that such an angel is standing by your side this very moment. You will be imagining what is true.

Introducing myself, Carolina

Dear classroom friends! My name is Carolina and I am Dutch. Happy New Year to all of you, even though it is a bit late. I met Indira in Oberwil, ( Switzerland) where I did a workshop with her. After that, my daughter Helen, who also participates here, decided to give me this subscription to Indira's "School of being happy being you". Great gift!

I live in the canton of Zug, am a ("retired") psychological astrologer FAS, am using and interested in a variety of esoteric subjects (Tarot, cristals, chakra healing a.o.). Angels play an important role in all this for me since I "discovered" them and following the lessons in this classroom will surely help integrating their love and support into my daily life. Looking forward to an exciting journey!

Lesson 42 & Welcome New Students Jan. 8, 2012

I made it to Lesson 42 and I am glad I did. I find the teachings in this lesson very profound. Does anyone else? I am working with the idea that my daydreams and fantasies keep me from being in contact with God. And, as this lessons ends, "And isn’t this the purpose of life? To come into contact with God?"

I am seeing how difficult for me to let go of the daydreams I indulge in each day, even though many of those daydreams are not pleasant ones. Through the awareness exercises I have been learning here, I am able to see how my mind is constantly filled-up. That's the point, isn't it? My mind is filled instead of empty, filled with thoughts, images, daydreams, fantasies. Thoughts are telling me stories all the time. I profess to want to let of who I am not, but now I see how attached I am to my daydreams and ideas. The positive thing in all this is that I DO see it. This is an awareness I never had before coming to this school. And as the angels tell us, "what you are not aware of controls you." So I will do the homework this lesson advises. And hopefully I will stop back in the classroom to add further thoughts about my spiritual work.

By the way, Welcome to the new students. This is an amazing school--when you show up and do the work, inner transformation happens.

Snow

There is a bit of snow falling from the dark sky, softly and gently, here in Western New York State. I am 3 hours closer to some of you, in the exact same time zone as some of you, and 3 hours further from Los Angeles. Speaking of time, waking up to Reality means living in NOW. Living in NOW is a timeless state. In NOW everything flows smoothly. Everything flows. There is no past or future. These are not just idle words. The state of NOW does actually exist, even when we do not experience it. Let yourself contemplate the timeless state of NOW.

Dear classmates,

some of you already know it: My healing crystals came back to me from a long journey. It was a joy for us to give the daily treatments - after such a long time - while I was holding them in my hands. We have got a lot of support during this process of returning the crystals to me. Also from you, and you and you .... and we went through deep transformations that now will enrich our work.
We (the crystals and me) decided now to gift all of you who supported us with good thoughts, mails, calls, from heart to heart with a crystal treatment. One will be in Maulburg in December 23rd at 7.30 in the evening. Please let Christel know if you are coming. The other date for a treatment will be in Mainz at 3 o'clock in the afternoon January 8th 2012. I am looking forward seeing you.

Oil Cleansing

Here is a health tip I have been practicing for quite some time, with positive results. First thing in the morning, I use a tongue scraper. Then I take a mouthful of good quality organic olive oil or sunflower oil and swish it and hold it in my mouth for 30 to 45 minutes, then spit it out. Next I brush my teeth very well. This is called oil cleansing and helps remove toxins from your mouth and body. I was told of this remedy by a couple of reliable sources and it works for me. Try it if you like. Oh, and be sure to floss regularly! Flossing is the single most important action we can take to help prevent bone loss, gum disease, and decay. That's what my dentist says!

Christmas and Hanukkah Scholarship Gifts

As my Christmas gift to you, I am giving you a gift that you may gift to someone you love: a 3 month scholarship to our school. This will come as a gift from you, not from me, with a special message. If you would like to offer this gift to someone, just send me their name and email address, so they can be enrolled. Remember: next semester for new students begins January 8, 2012, so please register their names in time to complete their Orientation before their first lesson arrives. Their scholarship will be January 8 to April 8. Of all the gifts we can give, gifts of the spirit are the greatest, for they are lasting, while everything of this world fades away. Perhaps this is the true meaning of Christmas and this season of Light.

I know everyone isn't on lesson 41 yet; I just want to say that I am so glad to have the lessons to accompany me through life. I hope you keep writing them for years to come, dear teacher of my heart.

Walnuts and Cherries

Do you know that w walnuts   and c cherries  both contain significant amounts of melatonin which can help with sleep, and are also a good source of antioxidants? Eating walnuts and cherries with yogurt is a beneficial evening snack. Frozen cherries are often available, even when there are no fresh ones.
