He was bright and yellow,
A happy mellow
Little fellow
"Hello!" I smiled, "How are you?"
He ignored me as faeries do
And played a melody upon a cello
He played so well O!
My heart nearly wept.
He said his name was Jello
I said, "Really?" he said, "Well, no!"
And laughed, "I'll never tell, O!
No I won't"
Then he played a melody upon a bell, O!
He played so well, O!
My heart nearly wept
Then he leapt
Upon a black and yellow
Bumble Bee
And flew away from me.
happy smiles...:

Thank you !
I like it a lot.
I love this poem, Indira. It takes me to the world of faeries, where I'd love to be, riding a bumble bee, flying thru the air, hopping from flower to flower... pure joy, and such beauty!
ReplyDeleteYes, it so dull, so ordinary to stay in the mind where most humans live, beyond the touch of fairies, the wisdom of angels, and the spirits of trees and flowers. So come, live in the heart! Live in divine imagination. Connect with the creative energy that flows through you continually, like a fountain of light, enhancing, enriching, and enlivening your experience on earth.
ReplyDeleteThe men I work with might laugh if they saw me reading poems about fairies. Let them laugh. I will laugh myself right into heaven, into my heart, into the world of angels.
