An Event of the Heart

Anyone who has seen an angel tells of the exquisite beauty of that vision. What they are really reporting on is an encounter with the heart. An event of the heart. When you encounter an angel, you encounter the energy of the heart in its purest form.

Energy is real. You know this for yourself because you can feel energy. When you walk into a room full of angry people, you can sense the tension, even if no one is saying a word, even if everyone is acting socially polite. Walking into your lessons is like walking into a room full of angels. It is like walking into your heart.

Angels take no special credit for this. Angels know they are simply characters in a play, acting out their destiny in accordance with the divine will of God. In this vast and glorious play, anything is possible. You are possible. Angels are possible. Miracles are possible. “Statistically, the possibility of any of us being here is so small, that you'd think the mere fact of existing would keep us all in a contented dazzlement of surprise."*

  1. I like the citation.
    And you`ve said it nicly:
It is true, that turning to my lessons feels like walking along a corridor, opening the door and stepping into my wide, beautiful, warm, meadow with blossoming wild flowers and fruit-bearing trees -heart. I love this place. It is homecoming.
You are all welcome here, come on inside.

  2. Ahhhh, a "beautiful, warm, meadow with blossoming wild flowers and fruit-bearing trees"
I like what you wrote, Petra. That is my idea of heaven, too!

  3. You are both blossoms of light. Nature is the closest thing to heaven we have on earth. I will write more about this either in a future lesson or here in the classroom or both. For now, the angels say, when you lose your way, when the darkness of the world weighs heavy on your shoulders, when the ways of the world are convincing you that you are less than, come here to your open classroom where you are always welcome. And go to nature, especially now that it is spring, go into nature. Converse with the flower spirits. Allow yourself to be held by a great old tree. Feel the life blood of the tree flowing through you. Listen and you will hear its heart. You will be comforted. You will know heaven.

  4. This is the one place I can count on in the world. When I come here I always find comfort. It is my little bit of heaven.

I will make an extra effort now, after listening to you ladies, to go out into nature. Sometimes I forget that nature is where I find myself. I get too busy working, working, and give me no time for playing, playing.
