lotus heart meditation

Dear Indira/Dear Classmates,
I love !!!! the lotus heart mediation. It feels so wonderful to have a floating lotus flower in my heart. It 's perfect to practice it at the end of my yoga! The experience is so beautiful I want to keep going forever. I'm curious about your thoughts. Have a great week. Ursula

  1. Ursula is referring to the Lesson first year students are now on, which includes a Lotus Heart Meditation. (I think Lesson 43, though it may be different for other classes, since I change the lessons). I will include that meditation here, since Ursula was so kind as to step into the Open Classroom and mention it. What you do here in your Classroom really does benefit your classmates. Mostly though, it benefits you.

    LOTUS HEART MEDITATION

Let’s enter the land of creative visualization and imagination for a moment. Enter into the stillness of your inner self and relax completely. Imagine a beautiful lotus floating in your heart center, gently, softly, peacefully, the way a lotus floats on a pond. Gentle rays of sunlight fall upon the surface of the water, filling everything with light. Even the air is soft and sweetly scented. Relax and allow yourself to see and gaze upon this beautiful lotus centered in your heart, still, peaceful, and calm. Let yourself be carried into the perfect world of the radiant lotus blossom. Safe, warm, and serene.

  2. I am also on this lesson. Being a man, I never would have thought of imagining a lotus in my heart. But I tried this exercise. And I felt something I never felt before, a great softness came over me. I felt actually more gentle and stronger at the same time. I like doing this meditation while I am wide awake, even out in public, talking with people. It makes me feel safe and protected by something bigger than myself. Maybe it is love. A love beyond all imagination. Love with a capital L.

  3. you students make me curious about the new lesson. My printer did not what I wanted it to do...printing. For me it is too hard reading from the computer the whole lesson. I will soon give my printer a new chance.
Love and peace for all of us

  4. Poor printer. I am sure it would be very happy if it were to print angel messages. How many printers in the world get to print angel words!?!

Anyway, Monika, you can read the lotus meditation that Ursula and Keven are referring to in the message on this page, that I wrote. Enjoy! And I hope your printer starts working soon. Sigh. Too bad your computer doesn't talk, then you could listen to your lessons as I do.
