Hello Terri, it seems that you are new here ? Wellcome. Nice to meet you here. I am not familiar with this name. Is it male or female ? I am Monika and I am from Mainz, Germany and I am since one year happy to be part of this class. Monika
Hi Monika, just thought I'd tell you that Terri is a girl's name in the USA. If a name has an "i" on the end, it is almost always a girl's name. Terry is usually a boy, could be a girl, but Terri would almost always be a girl. There! Is that clear and simple? And they are both pronounced the same. Have a good day, Monika. My day is ending as I write this, and yours is beginning.
Oh, a new teacher! Hi Terri, I'm Antje, nice to "see" you here! And there is also something with my name... I found out, that if an english speaker says my name it sounds like Angie, but it is not Angela, Antje is just a german nordish short form for Anna, or Ann (and it means or has to do with mercy I heard), ok, I'm not your new teacher... love to all, Antje
Hi Indira, Antje, Monika, and Kevin!! Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm glad to be a part of this wonderful learning process!! Kevin is correct....I am a female, but you would be surprised at the number of people who misspell my name with a "y". I look forward to sharing an incredible journey with all of you!! Have a great day!
Good Morning Terri Welcome to our journey that takes you every day to exiting places without taking actually a plane. Thank you Kevin-teacher for your lesson,I didn't know about Terri and Terry. Have a great weekend everyone!!!! ursula
Hello to you ! Right after I have posted the wellcome to Terri and the question about her name I thought: Such a stupid question, I should know that it is a female name, I do know Terry Lynn Taylor (an auther who writes books about angels). It was embarrassing to me..... And now I see that so much conversation came out of this "stupid" question. I am very glad for this experience. Monika
Hi Monika, you could never possibly ask a stupid question. I have a cousin named Terry, by the way, who is a guy. His real name is Terrance. And once I knew a girl named Terry Ferry. Names are funny! Anyway, I like how this all led to the statement about the inner Teacher in each of us, which the lessons help to awaken.
