Deep blue sky in April

My dear classmates, today I made a wonderful experience and I want to share it with you.
I went to work by car and when I left the garage I thought what a beautiful and warm day it is today and I was so happy -
at the same moment I heard a voice in my head, saying, that always when I feel "too" happy something bad will happen.
In the same moment I knew that it was not really my thought,
I could feel my mother, more than my father and maybe the generation growing up during the 2. world war, I am not sure, but there were people behind my mother. And then knewing where these thoughts come from they left my body.
(Today is my 21. day without eating, we are drinking fruit juices, tea, water, sometimes buttermilk and I think it has to do with our cleaning).
There was always a sentence in me telling me not to be too happy, now I want to know what is behind my limited thoughts.
It is so amazing that I'm reading so often about "being happy - being you" and there was the whole time this sentence in me and I didn't see it.
It was a great present and I love these moments and thank you that you share it with me.
Love, Antje

Lesson 17 - The tiny stick figure

In a reading I had with Indira a couple of years ago, I was complaining that I don’t like living in a ‘cement’ jungle (the city), and that I want to get out of the ‘cement’ jungle and live in the country. That is when Indira heard the angels joke/laugh that the ‘cement’ is in my head. I had never thought of myself that way, but as time goes by, I can see that there are times I can be hard-headed. LOL! It takes a while for things to sink-in sometimes; it takes awhile for me to see the truth in a situation involving myself.

Exercise at end of Lesson 18

Hi All, Thought I’d share my experience with this exercise. First of all, I want to mention that I am never comfortable with looking at myself in the mirror… I am much too self-critical. LOL! So I was surprised at some of what I experienced.

Farmer's Market

It's going on midnight here in Los Angeles. Today was Farmer's Market day. One nice thing about living in Southern CA is the large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables available year round. If I leave this area, that is what I will miss--but not the heavy traffic and smog. For dinner, I had fresh  strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and an orange. For lunch I ate salad with lettuce and kiwi, fresh juice, and steamed vegetables. I have a juicer and make lots of mostly vegetable juice. For breakfast I had oatmeal, blueberries, and almond milk. I hope wherever you are that you are also able to consume a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, because they are so healthy and energizing. Not only will your body feel better, but your brain will also work better when you eat healthy, get enough exercise, and sleep well. Eat rainbows! Hugs also help.

Are you ever bored? (St. Patrick's Day 2011)

In celebration of the green and orange holiday, I've changed the decor of our Classroom once again. This way, you will never get bored--confused perhaps, but not bored. Speaking of boredom, do you ever get bored? The dictionary defines boredom like this:

"His eyes were glassy with boredom: weariness, ennui, apathy, unconcern; frustration, dissatisfaction, restlessness, restiveness, lethargy, lassitude; tedium, dullness, monotony, repetitiveness, flatness, dreariness; informal deadliness."

What a boring list!

Well, from the angels point-of-view, the world of unconsciousness that most humans live in most the time, is a world of boredom. There is nothing alive, awake, aware, or alert about a bored state, which equals an unconscious state. The angels tell us that boredom is just laziness. When we are bored, we are too lazy to shake ourselves awake to the constant wonder that Great Spirit provides for us. God has given us a playground, to explore, learn and grow from, and have fun with.

Have you ever seen a kitten entranced with a drop of water? Or an angel entranced by a single drop of dew? Certainly, you would not be looking at boredom.

So shake yourself awake whenever you get bored. Tell yourself that boredom is just a state of mind. You cannot stop boredom from arising, but you do not have to stay there, feeling sorry for yourself. You can go against the state of boredom. You are always free to do something new! No matter what your outer state, an inner state of wisdom, love, and compassion always exists. This is what the angels tell us. The only true "fountain of youth" is the realization that your true nature is eternal, joyful, at One with Creation.

Hi Everyone

Must be "show and tell" time....remember that from grade school? I am just checking in. I like reading what you all have to say. What do I have to show and tell? Well, some of you may remember when I wrote about losing my girlfriend (she left) and how that had me pretty low. I came to see that being alone was the best thing for me. Still is. Right now my concentration is upon my spiritual path...inner transformation. Somehow it is working. Somehow I've been able to see an old problem of mine, which is feeling like a victim of romance. Since being in the school and as Indira says, really showing up for myself, that feeling is leaving me. For that I am grateful. I am also grateful to myself for doing the work that is helping to free me.

READING YOUR LESSONS

Dear Students,
Here are some hints for getting the most out of your lessons. It is always a good idea to read your lesson completely, at least once. But I know you have busy lives (as well as busy minds). Sometimes it is the busy mind that interfere with the ability to focus on spiritual work, even when you think it is something else. The false self will do everything to keep you from Truth, because the ego realizes at an unconscious level that Truth means the end of the false nature.

February Monthly Message

Hi Judy,
Thank you for 'translating' the angels for us. I love very much the new monthly message on your website, http://www.theclearandsimpleway.com/monthlymessage.htm. Very powerful, light, and clear.

For example when fear (for any reason) comes up and it expresses itself so strongly that I am nearly hypnotised by it, it is easy to forget that there might be another truth. It is easy to forget love. And sometimes it takes an intense effort to distract and turn away from - in this case - fear - and live another reality that supports me.

I am very grateful to be

Monika

Happy New Year to all of you my spiritual companions on the path. I am glad you are here. Always happy to see your bright friendly faces when I enter the Open Classroom. I feel accepted and free to express myself here. I am grateful to be part of this school, grateful for our teacher, grateful for each of you. When I read my lessons, I know you are reading those same lessons, doing the homework. You are my spiritual family. I am happy you are here. Thank you!

If You Would Know Me

Sometimes poetry speaks in words of Truth. Even if you think you are not a poet or can't write, try it. You might be surprised! Maybe you will contact something deep within your heart and soul. Maybe the angels will speak through you. Maybe your writing will release you from another prison of lack, loss, fear, and limitation. You just never know! Here is what came when I sat down one day and wrote spontaneously. I started with a title and the rest followed:

A SPIRITUAL JOURNAL

As you enter the new year, consider keeping a spiritual journal. Write spontaneously and freely.

Welcome to your Classroom!

Come in! Find a seat. This is YOUR school! It's not like a regular school. It's a spiritual tea party, You can come barefoot. Drink coffee! Laugh right out loud. Wear your pajamas. Share secrets. And you don't have to raise your hand! If you are shy you don't have to introduce yourself (we love it when you do) you can sit way in the back, where no one will ever see you, and just show up to see what your classmates are writing on the chalkboard.

You are welcome to become a "follower" and add your beautiful picture along with your friendly classmates. Use your real name or give yourself a new name. I have more than one name, myself, as you will see, my given name, Judith (Judy or Judi for short) and my "spiritual name" Indira.

Ask questions! Create your own "posts." Comment on posts. Sign up to receive email notifications when new posts and comments are added! Share your spiritual journey!

Writing is healing for mind and body, especially when you write here in the presence of angels. Your Open Classroom is always open! So stay open. Visit often! Write often. The more you show up for yourself, the more Truth will show up for you. This is a spiritual law.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dear teacher and classmates!
I wish you all a very happy, healthy, joyfull and lightfull 2011!
Thank you all for being here!
Love, Sandra

Dear Students

Thank you for the cards, ecards, and other messages of love that you have sent during this holy season. I wish for each of you that you begin to sense the true holiness that lives within you and that you begin to live from that holiness each moment of your life, here and now, in the eternal present.

New Lessons

Hello Everyone. I hope by now you are cuddled up by a warm fire sipping hot chocolate in your pajamas and reading your new lessons. Well, that's a nice image, isn't it? As the angels always say, if you are going to use imagination, then you may as well use it for imagining things that make you feel happy and peaceful. So often we use imagination to terrorize ourselves. Notice when you are around other people. Notice what they say. Notice when they are using imagination in terrifying ways....imagining horrible futures and horrible pasts. Just notice and do not allow yourself to be taken in by their negative and frightening images. The more aware you become of the frightening stories other people tell, the more you can be aware of the negative stories in your own mind. So watch the world around you with awareness. Awareness is the magic key that will set you free. (By the way, new students....you have not yet been invited to your Schoolroom....the fairies and elves are still painting your walls and decorating your chairs....so be patient....your will receive your first lesson soon!) All love, your happy teacher.
