December Monthly Message

If you haven't already, I encourage you to read Desire For The Holidays on my website. For those of you who like to work hard and learn quickly, this message provides extra-credit homework....you give yourself an opportunity to grow and evolve at deeper levels. How wonderful is that!

Our Thoughts, Including When They Are Dark

I was reading thru some older posts in the open classroom yesterday, and I read a reply from Indira to one of Ruth’s posts mentioning that it is OK to share our thoughts here in the open classroom, including when they are dark, because this is a way to bring them into the light of awareness. Thank you for allowing this Indira. I have an awful burden on my heart that I have struggled with for a long time, and I am hoping it will help to bring it out into the light, here with you, and the angels, and the other classmates.

Your New Lessons

Hello from Austin. Your new lessons are in your Schoolrooms, so be good students and read them. At least once. And if you carry your lesson or even a page with you, you can refer to it throughout your day. Fill your mind with light and there is less and less room for darkness!

Austin and more...

Just to let you know I am heading to Austin this morning December 2  and will return to L.A. December 8th. There are no students in Texas yet. However I will be giving readings there. I will have my laptop with me, so we will be in touch.
Also, your classmate Ruth is recovering from surgery and maybe if you have a chance, you can send a bit of healing light and love her way. Even mentioning her name here in the classroom brings soothing love to her. We love you, Ruth, and wish you well.

Your Nov. 28th Message

Hello Indira, I hope you enjoy your trip to Austin! Your Nov. 28th message about the ego being drama and darkness... This message dawned a light of understanding about the ego, for me, that I have never had before. I have always struggled to understand even a glimpse of what the ego is. Thank you opening my eyes so I can begin to understand it, and be aware of it. This message was sooooo helpful to me! Love, Mary

Response to Gabi and Jen

Hello Dear Students, I decided to create a new post here, rather than adding to the comments in the recent questions and posts.

Gabi, I very much like Elisabeth's response to you and to Jen. Elisabeth (Sanatha) has often made herself vulnerable here in the classroom, talking about her own battle with depression (an inherited predisposition)...and her last comments here show that she is imbibing the teachings. I so admire each of you for reaching out, for making the inner commitment to break free. I admire your courage. It is not easy to make one’s self vulnerable….even here in the Classroom. It may seem easier to hide in the shadows….not to make ourselves too vulnerable to ridicule or pain. It seems safer, sometimes, in the shadows.

YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: Welcome to YOUR classroom!

YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: Welcome to YOUR classroom!

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to add a further question to the angel message from the 7th of November. What should I do if I can't or don't want to live up to somebody's demands or expectations. Should I just say sorry, that is your problem and not mine, or try to be nice and do what is expected of me even if it is against my own intrest or feelings?
With love,
Gabi

YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: Welcome to YOUR classroom!

YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: Welcome to YOUR classroom!

Hi Indira and classmates,
I just read the daily message from November 7th. I love it, but I have real problems with it. How can I stop expecting and demanding things from people I am close to? Can,t I expect help from my husband with house work and other things? Can't I expect colleagues to do their fair share of work...... ? It feels to me that when I stop demanding things I have to do everything myself which will be more peaceful but would not feel right either.
I would be very greatful for an answer.
With love, Gabi

Welcome to Andi too!

Oh--I left out a Welcome to Andi. Sorry, Andi, I hardly noticed your shadow picture there among the followers. Good to see (sort of see) you there!

Welcome to new classmates!

Wanted to give a hearty welcome to Jen, who made a comment below, but doesn't have her name or picture over there as a follower yet. And hello to you silent students who sit in the back row and are too shy to introduce yourself (as Indira says in the Intro up above)....glad to be sharing the spiritual journey with all of you, seen or unseen. Thanks for being here! Kevin

Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening, Wherever You Are...

where are you, by the way? I mean, are you here - present - awake - and aware? Are you showing up for your life and your spiritual work? Are you being lazy? Are you thinking that spiritual work should be easier?

Actually, spiritual work is much easier than the way most people live their ordinary lives - trapped in the mind which brings endless suffering. It is much easier to forge your way through the forest of ego than to sit in the middle crying because you are lost. It is much simpler to stand up and shout joyfully into the dark forest of ego, "I am lost!" Why is this joyful? Because you are telling the truth and your heart loves truth. You, the small you, the ego you, are lost. When you are tell yourself the truth, you can get on with forging your way joyfully through the dark forest of ego into the Light. So be here now. Show up for your lessons. Do not sleep your way through school.

Thursday Morning in Los Angeles

First, Happy Birthday, Dear Monika, to whom I have sent a birthday poem. Monika is my translator in Mainz and Maulburg, and a wonderful translator she is, as many of you who attended my talks and seminars can attest to.

The rain here has been replaced by blazing sunshine and temperatures are expected to reach 92 (that's around 34 celsius). Wherever you are, I wish you sunlight in your heart.

Back to the Classroom

Hello Dear Students,
I am back in L.A. in the rain. I was not able to visit the Classroom during my long tour in Europe, and am happy to see that some of you kept in communication here. I have sent a Happy Birthday Poem to Antje. You, too,may receive one when you write me to let me know your birthday is near.

Happy Birthday Antje! May your 44th year be one of joy, spiritual evolution, peace, and creativity.

I was happy to meet many of you in Europe, some for the first time. And some of you met each other for the first time, during seminars or talks.

Also, welcome to Andi, who has become a member of the Open Classroom. Andi is in the 4th Class. She has no picture of her own, so you can must imagine one there, where her name is.

Now I am recovering from jet lag, which means I am awake a lot in the night. And recovering from a cold, which many people had while I was in Germany, and which followed me here. But I have a candle burning, the rain falling, my dog and cat snuggled next to me, bright flowers in a vase, and love in my heart and soul.

I will be resuming the daily angel messages tomorrow.

Hello dear Antje,
yesterday was your birthday and I hope your new year started well in Portugal. I wish you a year full of good surprises, happyness, truth and sunshine in your heart.
And yes, my birthday is soon, the 16th of October. We can have a celebration together, when you come back.
All the best to you
your friend
Monika
