Today I was working with one of our school exercises -- "Ask to see
something about yourself that you don't want to see." And I saw that
behind my "niceness" is someone who wants something for being nice. Of
course, I am polite to people. That's normal, and we don't
deserve special credit for just being nice. But often I am nice because I
want something -- if only to have that other person think that I am
nice. I need to see and keep seeing the many layers that keep me from
seeing/being in Truth. Anyone else have any thoughts about this? KevinCome! Share the journey. You are not alone. The angels are here. Your classmates are here. Your teacher is here. You are here.

A courageous exercise, Kevin, that can give many benefits.
ReplyDeleteDear Kevin,
ReplyDeleteI do have very similar experiences.First I'm always a bit shocked to see the truth about myself, but after thinking about it ,it makes it although more real and honest and for the long run I rather stick with the truth, even it does need courage and it's not always painfree.I admire you for posting this.Thank you.ursula
