Although I say I come from Jamestown, NY, I actually grew up in the
small village next to it, Falconer, though I moved to Jamestown as an
adult, and my mom lives there now. There was just a big fire in
Falconer, which destroyed several buildings which are over a century
old, which is old for the USA, though not for Europe. We think we are so
in control and yet we don't even know what is going to happen 3 minutes
from now. We do not want our homes and towns to be burned away, but we
do want the ego to be burned, purified in the fire of Truth. You can see
the video of the fire here: https://www.facebook.com/steve.trapani.1/videos/1435913369772238/?t=0Come! Share the journey. You are not alone. The angels are here. Your classmates are here. Your teacher is here. You are here.

Hi Indira, I wasn't expecting to see a picture of a fire here, so it was a bit shocking. But I think that is your point--it is shocking, when our old world collapses. We think we can hang onto what we have, but in a moment it can be gone. We can only keep what we are, what we have gained inside. And the ego burning in the fire of Truth -- that is shocking for the ego, and not what the ego wants, but it is the way to freedom from pain and suffering. What a lesson! I am learning a lot here about how to find the lessons in the ordinary things of life...and the shocking things of life. Kevin
