Seventeen Angels

Seventeen glorious angels
Came to visit me last night
Each wore a ribbon of light
And a crown of candles
Each one glimmered with gold
Their faces shone like alabaster
So bright, so beautiful, so barely there
All there was left to see was me
--In all my dark despair
--In all my heavenly light

And the seventeen angels sang to me,
"Darling one! What? Do you not know?
You are that which contains both light and dark.
THAT is the true light
A light your eyes are incapable of seeing
A light your mind is unable to fathom
It is the heart which knows and recognizes this Light.
This is the Light of Compassion, Wisdom, and the Only True Love
This Light holds her children, both light and dark,
in equal embrace."

  3. Do you paint also Ursula? Or is that only John? Well, perhaps one day I will have time and space to paint. For now I only wish I did.

    You are very welcome, Petra.

  4. Dear Indira.I used to paint more often ,but I haven't done it for a while.I was to busy working. But the idea
to do it again is very inspiring.John teaches art and does more pencil drawings and sculptures on this point.
I know you paint and your angel-paintings are very expressive.Hopefully we all get to do it again.
Have a great day everyone. ursula
