Angels of Nature

There are angels of meadows, forests, flowers, trees, and plants. Living in the moment, they work harmoniously together to maintain the sensitive balance of nature. Nature spirits are very intent upon their tasks, because so much of nature is disappearing due to the carelessness and cruelty of humankind, particularly the haphazard clearing of trees and rain forests. As the angels of nature are pushed further and further away, they have less and less contact with humankind. Still, they can be inspired to work with human beings when they sense that a person sincerely cares about and is dedicated to the preservation of nature. 

Even near the big city of Los Angeles, there are places of natural beauty where the nature spirits live. I took this photo in a place I like to walk with my little dog. Nature can always uplift our spirits and deepen our connection with God. Nature is God's cathedral. Sunshine and running water--brooks, streams, rivers, waterfalls--are vitamins for the soul. Mountains provide exercise for the body and inspiration for the spirit. Fresh air fills the lungs and heart with pure joy. When you are in nature, you can sense the gentle loving nature spirits; even when you cannot see them, you can still feel their presence.
