Of course you should give yourself permission to leave a relationship that is toxic to you. If you have done everything you can and there is still more bad than good in a relationship, then it is time to make a change. People who just give up because they don't want to work on a relationship (which means working on themselves) -- end up just making a lateral, horizontal move. But when you work hard on the relationship (which means you work hard on yourself) - then even if you leave the relationship - you are making an upward move.
Someone sent me this today, and I rather like it --
Doing what I want is my birthright.
Other people can take care of themselves.
I am not responsible for their lives or their feelings.
I do not have to spend time with people who lower my vibration, even if they are my mother.
Doing what I want is the key to my survival.
Doing what I want is being myself.
Being myself is the greatest gift I can give.
Being mself =doing what is right for me.
Doing what I want is a gift to the world.
Doing what I want is being authentic.
