Hello from California

After what seems like a long time, I am back in California. The East Coast Retreat was great. Here I will share with you some comments received from participants, and some comments from me!


 Aunt Jo (my aunt, but everyone at the retreat referred to her as Aunt Jo). Aunt Jo is a youthful redhead with long hair, open and receptive to growing and learning. She has been prone to nightmares and unable to sleep well for years. Here is what she said after the retreat. "I went home and slept straight for 7 hours. This is the first time in 12 years that I have slept over 2 hours without waking up. I can't wait for the next retreat. I loved meeting everyone."

Laurie "I just wanted to thank you for helping me last weekend. I have not taken any migrane medication or prilosec for my stomach. I stopped all of it cold turkey thanks to you and the angels. I have been writing in a journal and have been seeing things differently. I went to work Monday morning and drove through Tim Horton's to get my coffee and donut. The first bite of the donut tasted like grease!!!! It didn't taste sweet like I remembered. So I have not had anymore. 

John and I went to get a small vanilla ice cream and it had the same taste, like my roof of my mouth and tongue were coated with grease. I had two licks and told John I did't want it. I haven't had any fast food. It's amazing. I did write my worry list on a piece of paper and I got my oranges. I don't feel like I have to rock and worry for the 15 minutes because I feel as if it is all gone. I listened to things you talked about all weekend and am doing as you taught. I remember you asked me and Holly when we were walking what we thought of you. I said kind, sweet, and that sort of thing. I now would say that you are strong, tireless, compassionate, wise, patient, and more. 

I wish I could spend more time with you learning. I am going to register for your Clear and Simple Way classes as soon as I get a couple things paid off. Thank you and the angels soooooo much again. You gave me a great gift. I am awake! Love Laurie (Laurie happens to be my cousin, the daughter of Aunt Jo.)

I was very touched by everyone's story. Such a heartfelt group, so ready to grow and evolve. I was touched by Diana's connection of love with her grandfather. His spirit entered the retreat room to bring her healing, allow her to let go and live more fully.

I was touched by Darlene and Holly, both of whom had very difficult childhoods, and yet live lives of such caring and service. Holly has turned the pain of her growing up years to beauty -- the beauty of creating lovely jewelry from healing stones and crystals -- and the beauty of helping people with her healing energy. She has dedicated her life to helping others find the joy she has found.

I was touched by Darlene's story. Darlene also happens to be my cousin. I am blessed to have such spiritual beings in my family! Darlene is an acupuncturist who offers several modalities of healing. She is your classmate here! Darlene offers so much service, so much healing and light to her clients. She has transformed the pain of her childhood to the joy of service to others. Darlene inspired several others to come to the retreat; clients grateful for the help she has given them.

As the angels always say, 'the only thing you have to share with anyone is who you are - your inner state.' 

I will write more about the retreat later, perhaps. For now, let me say THANK YOU to the Universe that gave me the inspiration for the retreat.
