Angels and Miracles

Miracles can happen with or without the help of angels. I like to think of most miracles in my life happening because of angels, since I so often experience the energy of angels within and around me. I just wrote a daily message today that said:

WATCH FOR MIRACLES!

My flight out of LAX was delayed today, so I am flying out on December 18 Tuesday, instead. This gives me time for a new post, which you can read in Your Open Classroom, about a magical angelic experience that just happened to me. You may remember a previous message that talked about being open to small miracles. The more we can see small miracles, the more we can see the larger ones. For instance, the fact that you are here now breathing, reading, attuned to higher consciousness, searching for a way to know God is a miracle. Let this be your “homework” — each day, for the rest of December, let yourself become aware of a miracle, no matter how small. Write it down. Feel the awesome energy of the miracle. This will open you to larger miracles.

In this vast and glorious play, anything is possible. You are possible. Angels are possible. Miracles are possible. “Statistically, the possibility of any of us being here is so small, that you'd think the mere fact of existing would keep us all in a contented dazzlement of surprise.”[i]

So here is my little miracle for today. Two or three days ago, I lost my car keys. I was sure they must be in the garage or the house, since I'd parked the car in the garage, taken a couple items from the garage, and come into the house. But I could not find them. I felt certain they were not in the house, since I had just done a thorough cleaning, to prepare to fly from the west to the east coast for Christmas. I had another car key, but the lost key was an electronic one. Without it, I couldn't open the glove compartment or the trunk, since I'd locked them electronically. And a new electronic key is very expensive to replace.

Now, because my flight was delayed today (which means I fly a day later) I had extra time, so I went into the garage to look for the key again. I didn't find it, and was about to give up, when my eyes went to a stack of white paper, and there were my keys! I was astounded. I knew the keys were not there when I looked before. In fact, I had organized that very stack of white paper, thinking to bring it into the house sometime, after I lost the keys.

No, I hadn't asked the angels to help me find my keys. Nonetheless - the angels surely placed the keys where I would be sure to find them - on the stack of white paper! That's my miracle for the day. As I have given you all the homework of noticing a miracle in your life each day, I will also be doing that homework. When I have a chance, I will be writing my miracles here - so keep coming back!

Another small miracle is that the person who is picking me up at the airport in NYS called this morning to ask if I was coming in today or Tuesday. I told her today, and she said that I had initially told her Dec. 18. I didn't remember saying that, as my flight was always for the 17, but -- it turned out to be true! And if my flight hadn't been delayed today (which meant I would have missed my connecting flight) -- I would not have been here for the miracle of the missing keys!

All my love,
your teacher and classmate

  1. I like the idea of looking for miracles. How positive and affirming!! Especially during this Christmas season. Thank you dear teacher for always thinking of new and inspiring homework for your students. This will keep me focused upon something higher during this holiday season, which can be stressful, as we all know. I already have a miracle to share. I was feeling a bit down, thinking that Christmas is so commercial and what could I do to elevate myself higher? I decided to visit the classroom and found this post from you, Indira. Just what I needed! Thank you!

  2. I was watching for a miracle yesterday. And here is the miracle that happened for me---I noticed I was more in my heart, less in my mind. That's enough of a miracle for me today. I will keep looking for miracles. It sure is uplifting. Thanks dear teacher and angels.

  3. I have been noticing many miracles lately... one that is happening to me every day, today too, is:
many, many people drive to the city of Frankfurt eacht day - so there are lots of traffic jams on all the possible ways.
I have been driving to Frankfurt 4-5 days a week from November 1st on... and my way has been all clear (with only one exception)!
I thank the angels every day - because it is important to me that we can get there within a reasonable time.
Another miracle of today was, that I had no idea how to deal with a child I had to take care of... and I was guided through it and it turned to be okay.
I had given my inner rejection of the child to be healed by the love of the angels a couple of days ago.
I was able to hold him and honestly give comfort today when he needed it.
And: the cookies I baked today turned out yummy! :-)

Sending out lots of love to you all in this miraculous time.
    Petra

  5. looking back I see, that every question I had in my heart got answered, sometimes not immediately but always profoundly answered. Thank you dear teacher for guiding me to this realization...
and then a christmas miracle happened - my mother and my sisters family sat all together on one table at Christmasevening - after more than 10 years, where it wasn't so.
    Thank you angels.
May you all be kissed by angels wings and their blessings.

  6. Happy New Year to all of you.

Thank you Indira for remodeling our classroom. The frames are wonderful and ready to be filled up with our miracles and dreams

December is always such a busy month for me that I was almost fearful not to have time enough to do our home work.
I went always to bed early , exhausted and knowing I needed to start early again.
But then I started to wake up exactly at 3 am every night. First I was annoyed and couldn't believe that I couldn't sleep (I'm a deep sleeper) but then I realized that to wake up was what I asked for.Time to think to reconnect with angels ,thinking about my home work ,my life and I always woke up in the morning refreshed.I was awake for maybe 15 min.the most.
This went on for weeks and stopped exactly with my last day of christmas work.
I called it my christmas miracle and I'm so grateful for it.
    thank you for listening.

  9. What I appreciate most about your miracle, Ursula, is that you had to recognize it. It was there and you could have missed it, but you didn't. I love your miracle and thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to share it!

And I like reading what Monika and Barbara wrote also. Taking the time to communicate with each other -- well, it takes time -- and it means showing up for each other, to connect at deeper levels. It doesn't matter so much the words -- what matters is the connection -- the energy -- showing others that someone else is here, listening, relating, and we do not have to walk this path entirely alone.

I am grateful to see all of you here.
