LESSON 48 Living in the Present Moment

Thanks for my newest lesson. I am on #48 but it doesn't seem like so much time has passed. I like to think of myself as always a new student. And I do like the pdf form, but getting the lessons in the online schoolroom works just as well for me. I find myself wishing that more students would share their experiences here, but even when they don't, I know they are here, reading the words that are written here. I am presently working on consciously staying in the present moment. For me that means noticing when my thoughts are in the fear of the future, fantasizing, or wrapped up in the past. This is an exercise in awareness. Lesson 48, Living in the Present Moment really hits the spot. Thanks, as always.

  1. Keep sharing , Kevin. I love to read what you write here. I love that you take the time to show up. Your sharing helps other students. It helps each of us to know we are not alone on this sometimes lonely spiritual path. That's good work- noticing your thoughts. If we don't pay attention to our thoughts, they will gladly take over and run our life, even when they don't know which direction to go - then we end up stuck, like in Monika's picture posted above (in Mongolia).

  2. Thank you Kevein for your visible presence here in the classroom. I appreciate it very much. Sometimes I myself wish there is more activity here. And I know my lazyness and sometimes shiness, so on the other hand I do understand. And without some people showing up here it would be blanc and this is not always interesting to me.
I love reading your kind, humorous and well pointed comments and posts.
    Thank you
    Monika
