Welcome to School, Tina! Although I can read the comment Monika wrote, after many trips to German-speaking Europe, I must write in English and really only understand English. The school is a good place to practice and learn better English.

Which place in this world are you living ? I am living in a flat, 3rd floor and when I look out the kitchen windows I am looking at a big tree that has red leaves in the summer, rose colored blossoms in springtime and today it was white with snow laying upon its branches and little birds playing in it.
Welcome in the branches of our school where we can play and sing.

Welcome here to the present moment, Helen. I am glad Tina's comment gave you the courage for your first post here. Yes, when we come together on our spiritual quest we can assist each other. This is one reason for the open classroom, to feel supported and to give support to others.
ReplyDeleteMany students read these messages, though not so many actually write here, but everyone who shows up here benefits. And when you take a moment now and then to write something, you benefit even more.
But don't take my word for anything. Try everything for yourself and see what happens. See what works. Our school asks that you try everything for yourself because we do not encourage blind belief. Our school exists to help you give up blind belief and learn to think for yourself.
Learning to think for yourself means going against years of false conditioning and even what society demands. And yet it is the most liberating experience. You are here to become free. You are here to become who you really are, which means giving up the false you to discover, uncover the true you, the free and happy you, that exists under the layers of false conditioning built up over the years.
Hi Monika, You have snow and there is none here in NYS, just rain. Penny is here with me. Your description of your home reminds me of a bird in its sweet nest, looking out over the world. And your clarinet sings like the birds.
