Human beings experience lows and highs, and yet what we strive for on the clear and simple way is our center. When you experience a bad mood, a depression, notice how your mind tells you that it will last forever. Then remind yourself that your dark state is temporary. Do the same thing when you experience an unnatural high. Just do your best to observe the constant cycle of highs and lows, and keep remembering to remind yourself that this is temporary. Be an angel to yourself. Whisper words of truth to yourself, especially when you are in a depression or an unnatural high. Remind yourself that all darkness is false. Only Light is eternal.
That was the very right reminder I needed! :-)

Depression actually has no right to exist. It is a parasite that lives off your life energy, convincing you that it is real, that it has reasons to exist and take over your life. It has no reason to exist. It is not real. It is the false self.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate this reminder that depression has no right to exist. Depression is darkness and darkness is not my true nature!
ReplyDeleteOh,Indira, that is very helpful, what you whrite about Depression. She plays with me in the last time and she was the winner. But I understand in this moment--depression is the door to darkness.
ReplyDeleteAnd darkness is not my life.I remember -years ego-in Mainz. You spoke about light and darkness, and it was so much light around you and in the room,i was so happy, and then you spoke about depression and negativität and I was seeing the darkness-it was terrible. It was an experience from you,but I remember it now.Thank you. Eva
Realize that depression is loving the darkness. Refuse to love darkness! This refusal alone is the dawn of understanding. It is like opening the door in a dark room. Suddenly the light floods in! Make a decision to love the light. Love Truth. Let the door of your heart open wide!
ReplyDeleteRealize that depression does not actually exist. Where does it come from? Thoughts! Since thoughts do not actually exist, how can depression?
ReplyDeletePeople find many reasons to be depressed. Too old. Too poor. Too much work. Not enough love. The wrong lover. Misbehaving children. Not enough work. Too fat. Lonely. Afraid of the future (which also doesn't exist).
Depression always exists in comparison....in comparison to something else.
Depression is based on thinking. Wrong thinking. This is why angels teach a path of awareness. Become aware of the many thoughts that clutter up your mind, leaving no space for the light to shine through. No wonder humans are depressed!
Begin with the intellectual understanding that you are not your thoughts. Begin with an awareness of what you are thinking and of the power these thoughts exert over you. Then remind yourself of truth. "I am not these thoughts, therefore I cannot be this depression!"
