Here I am on the east coast of the USA, in western New York State, on Chautauqua Lake, near Lake Erie which has beaches like an ocean, with my mom and dad, helping them grow into old age. As human beings we are interdependent upon each other. We need each other to survive on earth. When we honor our interdependence in the right way, we honor each other and progress on our Path.
It is too hot here to think. Almost too hot to breathe. Humid. The air is like liquid. Haven't seen any fireflies yet. Maybe they are too heavy with moisture to fly. Maybe I haven't been in the right place at the right time.
My vision grows larger and seeing is so freeing, so healing, so to the bone revealing. As the angels always say, the spiritual path is not for the faint of heart. And sometimes I nearly faint with what the light reveals about human nature. And then the angels speak to me, remind me of my true reason for being here, to rise into the light of Understanding and not fall into the ignorance of human weakness. Today I shall once again go into the woods and meld with the great spirit, with the nature spirits, with the great trees and the bubbling stream. And tonight I shall listen to the spaces between the stars.
Have an enlightening inspiring day my dear and beloved companions on the Path. I am glad you are here.
Out growing dependence...
ReplyDeleteCould you share your wisdom on dependence and interdependence?
Thanks,
Love, Debra

Hi Debra...."You wrote: Out growing dependence...Could you share your wisdom on dependence and interdependence? Thanks, Love, Debra"
ReplyDeleteHa-ha. Well, it takes many many lessons to share all the wisdom there is. Actually it only takes one lesson, but we need to hear the same words repeatedly in different ways, because the mind is so dense, so thick, so ingrained in old habits.
Human beings are an interdependent species. We can gather turn to each other for comfort and support. We do not have to do everything in this world alone. If that were the case, these lessons would not be written and you would not be reading them.
Support from others is most effective when we utilize it to find our own source of strength. This is the purpose of these lessons — to help you find the source of strength and power within yourself.
When we find this Inner Source of strength and power, we may still be interdependent for our daily life, but we are not dependent upon others for our happiness. We are fulfilled from within, not without.
How's that for a brief sharing of wisdom, Debra?
Thanks, Indira. Very helpful and balanced! :)
