ANGEL READING

Dear Students,
In seminars, I give each person a reading, and everyone gets to listen to these readings and learn and grow from what they hear. Here is something I just wrote to someone, after giving her a verbal angel reading. I am posting it here because its message is relevant to all of us. Take what you can from it, to uplift and enlighten your own life.

"....the angels want for you what your heart wants for you. They encourage you to consciously slow down. Begin to take small actions and see what happens. Instead of being attached to and trying to control what happens, just be open and curious to find out what will happen. Do not limit yourself, "I can only apply for this job," -- apply for jobs you might really like. If you think that you can "only" do this -- you might limit and restrict yourself from new possibilities. You might fail to see your many skills and talents. You might keep parts of yourself hiding in the shadows, believing they are "less then" and can't even try. Quell the fear by reminding yourself that you will not be reckless. You will not step in the quicksand. You will go slow enough to heed the signs warning you of where not to step. You can have the peaceful, bountiful life that already exists within your heart, no matter where you are or what you are doing.

If you move too fast, from fear, then either you won't move at all and you will stay paralyzed, or you will make decisions from fear, which will only lead to more fear. You will simply be repeating unhappy internal patterns (based on memory) that will lead you to being who you do not want to be.

So the angels remind you to move slowly, but move! Take actions. There is nothing to fear, for lo! the angels are with you always. The light is guiding your way.

When you are patient and listen, then you can hear the soft still Voice speaking to you, instead of all the strident fear-based voices of the ego.

The angels are simply reminding you -- re-minding -- filling your mind with new light -- reminding you that your life is an open book and the pages are blank and you can write something new on them -- replace limited negative thinking with new words of light and truth.

Be filled with light now. Be relaxed now. Do not wait for when or if to allow yourself to experience peace. You do not have to be perfect, whole, or healed to be happy. You can relax now. Even if your jeans are too tight. Even if your sneakers are covered in mud. Even if your thoughts are still causing you trouble. There is no when or if. There is only now.

Now is the time to be relaxed. Now. Right where you are. Make the most important move. Move into permission to relax now. Move into the peace in your heart. Let this peace guide you to where your heart truly wants to be. An outer place is never right unless we ourselves are right. Even paradise will be wrong when we are wrong inside."

  3. "Relax and slow down" - this is my topic!
I have - in this time of my life - the great possibility to finally relax and slow down..... and/but hardly to believe: it is sometimes so difficult to accept all this. The mind is conditionned to DOING - so he has difficulties in bearing situations of relaxation, brake and time for just being. He finds it boring!!!
So, as I heard at a recent seminar: We have become more human-doings instead of human-beings!!! .... It is so true!

  4. Slowing down! Well, then, Sandra, I think you will find your newest lesson was written just for you.

Even better, we can rise beyond the merely human and become Spiritual Beings.

  5. Hi Indira, I think the newest lesson was written just for me, but then I think that about every lesson. Slowing down is not what I do best. I am always in the fast lane. I am practicing the homework. It assists me in seeing how fast-paced I think I have to be in order to be a success in the world. I remind myself that what is important is to be a spiritual success.
