YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: thoughts

YOUR OPEN CLASSROOM!: thoughts

Hi Kevin,
as often I am a bit late in the classroom and just read your "thoughts". I am sure our egos love negative thoughts, because we like somebody to feel sorry for ourselves, the ego likes all this attention. We try to imagine how things would be different if we would have taken a different path, other people would have behaved differently and get angry and jelous... Sometimes when I feel down I "like" beeing down; I don't want to laugh, I dont want to join happy people, I like to be miserable and feel sorry for myself. Luckyly my downs never last long, and with the help of the school I become more aware of my silly ego and its little tricks. I know that we can't change the past and so I try to smile at these negative thoughts to let them go. Easier said than done, but it is worth a try. I hope you can give your negative thoughts a little smile next time they pop up.
Best wishes, with love Gabi

  1. Hi back, Gabi...well, one of the great things about this classroom is you can be as late as you want! And I happen to think your timing is perfect.

Because of this school & all of you - I could write here, instead of engaging in a deeper drama...a few days ago when I was on a downer and nothing was right with my world, I was a loser, made all the wrong choices, on and on and on..

Like, I wanted to write this long drawn-out letter to my girlfriend about the "past" da, da, da,....and

instead I wrote here. This was a great accomplishment for me. I didn't follow my old ways and I didn't create more drama (karma).

Yes, you are right on, Gabi. The ego doe love attention. The lessons talk about that.

I like the idea of smiling on my negative thoughts. Grr. Grit my teeth and smile!

Hey! I just completed my first year in the school! And so did some of you, I bet. Congratulations to us all! And i just signed up for my 2nd. I can't imagine now how I ever got along without this school and all of you, my spiritual classmates.

    love ya all! Kevin
