Angel Sighting

In case you were hoping to see an angel today, your wish is granted. Smile. At least this is someone's idea of an angel, and it is quite lovely. It is 4th of July here in the USA, so there will be celebrating with picnics and fireworks and for some their idea of a good time is getting drunk. For us as spiritual beings, our idea of a good time is the sparkling radiance of God that is all around and within us and everything. Today try looking beyond the physical objects you see to the the aura or energy field that surrounds each physical object. Even an earthworm has its own aura. Trees have wonderful auras. And then there are the beings who are invisible to our eyes, like little nature beings and tree spirits and such, who shine with their own light and color. If we could see with our true vision, we'd see a sparkling radiating world - at least in nature. In the world of humankind - well, there would also be those dark and shadow energies because so many humans so often live amongst the shadows of negative thoughts and emotions, which never manifest in light ways, only dark. So spending time in nature is a clear and simple way to spend time with the Light.

Wishing you all the freedom in your heart and soul, as the USA celebrates its independence from Britain so long ago. Hmm. And what is Britain celebrating? Getting free from the European Union? We shall see what will be. In the meantime, remember - you are in the world, but you are not of the world. Negativity and darkness are of this world. Light is of the kingdom of Heaven,  God, Truth, Reality -- this is your true home. As spiritual beings what we seek is freedom from the tyranny of the mind. Watch for the Light today. All love to you now and always.

The angels are calling you. They are calling you out of lack, loss, fear, and limitation. These exist in the physical world, but they do not have to live inside you. No matter what…no matter WHAT…you can…you CAN live a full and abundant life. You were not created from seeds of fear and limitation. You are created fromseeds of love, joy, and wisdom. This is your true nature. You do not have to become this — you already are this. You must only realize this.

You have all the power within you to do what you must do each day, each moment, to realize that you are love. You are joy. You are wisdom.

So take the small steps you must take today. Try not to complain too much, no matter what your situation. When you catch yourself in lack, loss, fear, and limitation, step away from that into something new. Step into the next momentand let it become the present moment.

Do not be lazy today. Do not be a victim today. Do not feel sorry for yourself today. Do not think
about yourself all day. Do not look through eyes of lack, loss, fear, and limitation. Just for today try this. Then try it again the next day. And the next.

Do what you must do. This brings courage. Courage is an energy. All there is, is energy. Do what you
must do today. This attracts courage to you. Courage is doing the small tasks of life, even when you are afraid, even when you do not want to.

Who else must complete your tasks? No one. They are yours. So do what you must do. Watch the
negative thoughts and emotions inside you, but do not give into them. This will lead you higher up the mountain of Truth. This will lead you to a life of wisdom, joy, and love. When you have wisdom, joy, and love, you live a life of abundance.

Krishnamurti: A girl asks why we want a companion. 

Why does one want a companion? Can you live alone in this world without a husband or a wife, without children, without friends? Most people cannot live alone, therefore they need companions.

It requires enormous intelligence to be alone; and you must be alone to find God, truth. It is nice to have a companion, a husband or a wife, and also to have babies; but you see, we get lost in all that, we get lost in the family, in the job, in the dull, monotonous routine of a decaying existence. We get used to it, and then the thought of living alone becomes dreadful, something to be afraid of.

Most of us have put all our faith in one thing, all our eggs in one basket, and our lives have no richness apart from our companions, apart from our families and our jobs. But if there is a richness in one's life - not the richness of money or knowledge, which anyone can acquire, but that richness which is the movement of reality with no beginning and no ending - then companionship becomes a secondary matter.

More on Forgiveness

Are you eager to hear more on the subject of forgiveness? I am eager to write more. . . Forgiveness is a very interesting subject. I have thought about it for a long time, the meaning of it, how it happens.

One of the best ways to learn is by asking the right questions, though it is also possible to learn even when you ask the wrong question--when your question is sincere and your heart is open. We can't always ask the right question because we, ourselves, don't always know what that question is.

What goes with forgiveness? Or rather, what goes with unforgiveness? Ponder this for a moment, then continue reading....

Anger and resentment go with unforgiveness. Since we feel angry and resentful when we cannot forgive, then who is hurt? The answer is clear -- the one who harbors the anger, bitterness, and resentment. We hurt ourselves when we hold onto negative thoughts and emotions.

So you can see how vital it is to forgive -- for our own health and well-being, at every level. The more negativity we store within us, the more pain we have, even when this is unconscious pain.

It takes at least two to stay stuck in unforgiveness. There must be a "you" who is angry and hurt, as well as the person who hurt you. That makes at least two, right? We can also be angry at situations and events or whole groups of people. This keeps us always in duality. For so long as we are trapped in duality, how can we realize our Oneness?

Resentment blocks us from knowing God. Unforgiveness is like a huge boulder on our path that we can't go around, under, over, or through. It can only be dissolved by love.

We are not loving ourself when when we fill ourself with the negativity that comes with resentment and anger. We are feeding ourself poison, not love. We must realize this at a very deep and expansive level to become willing to forgive.

Dear Students, Hopefully you are all reading your new lessons, imbibing their messages, and practicing your homework.

In addition to your monthly lessons, you also receive email messages and an opportunity to visit Your Open Classroom. Your Open Classroom is filled to the brim with present day messages as well as archives way back to when the school first began.

You can visit Your Open Classroom anytime you need spiritual upliftment, even in the middle of the night. You can wear your pajamas. Drink coffee. Chew gum. It’s your Classroom. Just as this is your school. What you do here, how involved you are, is all up to you. So what you receive is also up to you.

Isn’t that encouraging? What you receive depends on what you give of yourself, how open you are, and how willing you are to let go of what isn’t you.

What are you willing to give to receive something new? What are you willing to give up? What are you willing to do? What are you willing to stop doing?

All of the above depends upon how receptive you are. Think about this word, receptive. Receptivity is the most important quality on the spiritual path.

When you are receptive, you are open to forgiveness. Receptivity and forgiveness go together in ways we will explain in the  days to come.

For now, just know that receptivity is soft and open. Like forgiveness.
